Lovely place to camp & fish

We really enjoyed our stay, it was lovely and peaceful! The people who work there go above and are always happy to help :)

Great stay

We stayed for 2 nights as we were going to Birmingham to see the Black Sabbath concert. This was ideal and not too far away. Facilities were fine, showers and toilets good. I don't really think these huts are big enough for 4 people though. We ended up only 3 of us and space was tight as there is nowhere to put anything. Next time I would book 2 huts and have 2 people in each one. Other than that it was absolutely fine.

Spontaneous camping trip near home

Fantastic little campsite, clean and tidy all over, and a great spot if you want to go for a walk around the lakes. Big open field for children to play in close by to tents as well.

Lovely campsite

Spotlessly clean. Lovely campsite with nice walks and decent facilities. The only thing I would say is there is no cut off for loud music, on our first night someone had theirs on until around 4am, which was a little annoying but other than that, we had a great time.

Lovely quiet site. Staff friendly. Nice little cafe. Amenities nice and clean. Would stay there again.

A nice basic quiet site

Very nice helpful staff. Plenty of showers and the toilets are quite basic, but adequate. Good location would use again. I loved the option of the private bay pitches.

Best camping site for our group, families and children

Wish there could be at least two sinks for washing dishes and toilets cleaned frequently.

Perfect campsite!

This campsite is a gem! Everything was super tidy and clean, which is always a great start. The whole place had a beautiful, peaceful vibe, and it was so quiet - perfect for relaxing. The lakes really made it special, adding to the scenery and the sense of calm. Plus, all the facilities were in great condition, and it genuinely felt like the campsite had everything you could possibly need. Definitely recommend! This was the first time we've been there and we are going to come back for sure.

Lovely getaway

Was an wonderful time away camping experience with friends, we all enjoyed it there. Lovely scenery as well had a nice breakfast, a few mornings with a nice cup of tea. People who runs the site very friendly and polite - couldn't ask for anything else.

3 day camping and fishing

Great campsite. We want to visit again. The fishing lakes were good.

Disappointing

Great site if it was looked after, grass on the field needed a good cut. We were put in a row of 4 vans together even though there was plenty of room for us to be spread out. The shower/toilet block was not regularly cleaned or looked after. Some showers didn't have hooks to hang clothes on, no toilet paper regularly in the toilets and they were not kept clean. Dearest site we have been on this year, staff appeared to be put out if you asked for anything. A real shame as it could be a lovely site.

Fantastic stay

It was our first trip in our new caravan. Family of four. The place was lovely and clean, the lakes were great to walk and peaceful. The on-site facilities very clean and all in good working order. The staff were extremely helpful and the on-site cafe is a great place to meet new people. We look forward to staying here again.
