About the site

Set between Royal Leamington Spa and the famous Stratford-upon-Avon is this peaceful countryside campsite, ideal for a relaxing break. Guests can enjoy lovely countryside views, with the beautiful Cotswolds just 15 minutes away. The site is set across 14 acres of wildflower meadows, great for exploring the grass pathways, with circular camping pitches measuring 10-14 metres in diameter. Two are set aside for adults only! Wheelbarrows are provided to help move equipment, as cars are parked in a designated area for safety and campfires. Pitches are well spaced, each with its own fire pit for a lovely cookout in the evening. If glamping is more your style, there are plenty to choose from. There are two bell tents, each sleeping up to four, kitted out with a double and two single mattresses, bottom sheets, pots, pans, and a fire starter kit. Each of the yurts accommodates up to four with a king size bed, along with two single memory foam mattresses, bedding, towels, cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Outside is a garden area with a covered kitchen, a gas stove, seating, a parasol, and a fire pit. The Garden Yurt is located in the orchard with its own compost toilet and shower, outdoor kitchen, parasol, and seating. Ideal for a romantic break is the shepherd's hut. Sleeping up to two adults, the hut comes with a double bed, bedding, soft furnishing, solar lights and a wood burner to keep you toasty. Outside is also a covered kitchen with a gas stove, along with a raised fire pit. The campsite shop sells logs, kindling, food and camping supplies. There is also a seating area to enjoy a little coffee and cake to start your day right. There is extra seating available in the room next door for eating and relaxing. The kitchen area has a hot plate, microwave and fridge/freezer space. Campfires are allowed, with each pitch having a fire pit. Disposable BBQs are not permitted onsite. Assistance dogs are allowed by pre booking. No other dogs are permitted.

A note from the site themselves...

The site has been operating for over 13 years, and nature and wildlife are at its heart! We see a wide range of animal visitors, including deer, red kites, barn owls, hedgehog's and occasionally we have even spotted a stag! We take pride in bringing nature and wildlife back to what was once empty fields and have planted hundreds of native trees and throw wildflower seeds down yearly, so you never know what flowers you may see!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

We came for a short break to get away from the stress and pressure of life. Twitey's gave us just that, with a provided fire pit and wood to buy, we were able to relax by the fire every night and breathe easy knowing we had our own private pitch away from anyone else. The site is extremely well organised with great, clean facilities and shop. We will be visiting again.

Site's response

Very many thanks for your review and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Best wishes and see you again sometime, All at twitey's.
