Great Last Minute Stay

Booked this late Friday afternoon and couldn’t have been happier that we chose here. Easy to find, very organised and the showers were 🙌🙌. Superb spot for the sunset too. Only a 25 minute drive to Scarborough for day.

Very peaceful

Great to get away from it all, very relaxing and peaceful set in lovely surroundings. Made to feel welcome when we arrived by the lovely site manager, just so friendly. Pitches are very large, and well spaced out. The showers/ toilets are individual huts very novel, super clean as is the whole site. A very pleasant stay.

A night in the country

What a nice, quiet and peaceful little site. Very clean with good sized pitches. This is another one in the booked last min category but very pleased with the outcome. The site is set back from the country road that takes you there, with only the expected amount of traffic noise as the night goes on, the traffic gets less. This is not the flattest site we have stayed on, more suited to smaller camping arraignments in our opinion. Still, get there in good time and stay at the top of the site and you could pitch most things up. The showers and toilets are a thing of quirky wonder! If going to the small room and taking a shower could be fun, then this is it. Three wooden huts self contained. Wonderful concept that adds to the experience. Good views over open fields with large hedges to the rear as a wind break and blocking the view of the working farm. All looks and works well. This is just a nice little site close enough to the coast but in lovely open country side.

Campervan

It's a fantastic place to relax and quiet, well spaced out and lovely and clean. The shower and toilet are very good and clean, I would recommend.

Bank holiday escape

We really enjoyed our short break. Nice and peaceful but within striking distance of Bridlington and Filey Lovely toilet facilities in the quirky huts. Everything was fine.

Fantastic little site

Great little site. Friendly owner and very good bathroom facilities. Quiet and peaceful but close to the coastal towns would definitely stay again.

A piece of tranquility!

We only stopped by for 1 night as our last stop before heading back home. I must say, as lovely as all the campsites were, this was my favourite! It was so tranquil being on a beautiful field with cows roaming and just gorgeous views. The toilet and shower facilities were lovely and clean too. Just perfect!

Great quiet site

Small quiet site with countryside views. Clean bathrooms, helpful owner. Good access to different places on the coast. You need transport, nowhere in walking distance as the pub is closed. Pitch where you like on arrival however some are quite small. If you have a caravan and awning you would need to reserve one of the larger corner pitches. Odd though as loads of space between each pitch. Would definitely go back.

Best campsite I've been to!!!

Situated in a lovely meadow, this campsite was the best I've been to in the area! The toilets and showers were nice and clean, no children or dogs and the lovely lady greeted us with 1/2 dozen fresh eggs! Would recommend to anyone who likes peace and quiet!! Many thanks we will come again for sure!!!

Very nice quiet site

Lovely quiet site based in a large field with access to three huts containing a shower, toilet and sink. Adult only site and no pets allowed but that suited us. Site owner very nice and greeted us with lovely fresh eggs. We stayed for two nights while we visited Scarborough and Whitby, good location. Would stay here again.

Our stay

On arrival, we were impressed with the option to park anywhere we liked. The site is clean and well-spaced out. It is also well placed for seaside resorts for a day out in Scarborough and Bridlington. Unfortunately, we chose a weekend that was very windy and being in the open, it rather took the edge off our stay. Also, the flies were a problem but being on a chicken farm, it's what you would expect.

Wonderful stay with the call of the curlews

A wonderful 2 night stay - the eggs were amazing and the cows friendly. Lovely shower huts and toilets, and Mandy was very informative for eateries close by.

Really peaceful stay

10/10, really felt at peace and comfortable. Thought the showers were great, nice and warm. The cows were a nice touch and the eggs were tasty. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic campsite

Great little campsite. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and was given the code for the WiFi and some fresh eggs. The pegs were well spaced out with electric and fresh water close by. The little bathroom cabin were very well done and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Yorkshire seaside visit

Great site and lovely people. The wildlife on the site was worth seeing, especially the bats.
