Beautiful setting
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Jul 2024 The tents are set in a stunning location. I highly recommend getting the firelighter pack, we sat out for hours on a night with the log burner on. The tent had everything you need to keep cosy and plenty of games to keep the kids happy!

Bell Tent - Bell Tents Jul 2024 We had an absolutely wonderful few days/nights at Freespirit Glamping. The tipi was gorgeously set-up with everything we could possibly need and more. The site itself is beautiful and really well maintained by Andy & Helen.
Given how spacious the site is and how spread out the tipis are, you can really enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the outdoors - our little pup Ruby particularly enjoyed her early morning walks round the field!
The site is a lovely 15-20min walk into Helmsley which has so much to offer, including the open air pool and plenty of independent eateries & shops. This was our first family camping/glamping trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Freespirit - and already can't wait to go back again soon!

Freespirit Glamping stay May 2024
Bell Tent - Bell Tents May 2024 Lovely setting and we were made to feel really welcome. It's a great site for kids as they can roam around freely but still be in sight.

Great camping break
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Apr 2024 We decided to try camping as a family of 5, including 3 young kids, and wanted somewhere with the tent all set up in advance and with all the kit included.
The location is lovely, with only 5 tents in a huge field. Andy is very welcoming and helpful and showed us round and popped up each day to drop off things we needed. The tent was spacious and pretty inside. All the kit (plates, cups, equipment etc) were neatly packed into boxes inside the tent, you really do only need to bring clothes.
Each tent has it's own toilet and shower (which were very clean), a small shed with a stove and fire equipment and a fire pit. Fantastic space for the kids to play and a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy peace and quiet. The tents are well spaced so you don't feel too close to neighbours at all.
Helmsley is 2 mins away in the car and is lovely with loads of shops, restaurants and pubs. Loads of nice local walks and places to visit too.
A perfect introduction to a low effort camping experience!
The only negative was I thought that some of the optional extras were expensive, e.g. £25 for double bedding, £15 for an extra air bed on the floor, £40 for a fire kit.

Free spirit camping
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Aug 2023 Arrived late afternoon and Andy was waiting for us. Showed us all around and told us places to go.
Very helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend visiting.

Free spirit glamping
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Jun 2023 Fabulous find in Helmsley. The tent accommodated a family of 5 which is rare to find. Beautiful setting, a 10 minute walk into town.
Facilities were excellent, we just needed to turn up with food and booze 😂
