Excellent site. Would return and recommend to friends.

Very nice!

Excellent location; 15 minutes walk from Ingleton. Value for money; would be 5 stars but like everything else, costs keep going up. Standard of service; the site is great but we never saw any staff! Facilities; everything you need, even piped music in the toilets! Cleanliness; everything spotless - shower block is like new.

What a find!

An absolutely stunning place. Beautiful drive getting there and a beautiful location. Facilities and pitches are spot on. Big shout out to Jill and Bertie for making me feel welcome.

Lovely site

We had a lovely stay. Beautifully laid out site, well spaced out pitches and the toilet/shower block was so warm and cosy.

Short stay

It's a clinical site, from ANPR entry and exit and therefore, you never see the owners, so feels a bit impersonal. Can see how efficient it is for the owners who have invested quite a bit in the site's camera system, covering the whole site. A bit noisy from the nearby A65 throughout the night if you are a light sleeper. Spotlessly clean with good modern washroom facilities. The information room was welcome, as was the discount from the local shop. The local pub being closed two midweek days did not help either, but at least it got me to walk quite a bit further to Ingleton.

Good location and great site.

Perfect weekend away

Perfect site spacious pitches, toilet block spotless, showers the push button type but plenty of hot water. Site easy to find, very peaceful, enclosed dog exercise field. Location perfect to walk down bank into Ingleton. We walked the Ingleton Falls it is a payable walk but well worth it. Quite strenuous, lots of steps but the falls are spectacular.

Brilliant - recommend!

A hidden gem in the Dales. Perfect for hiking Ingleton Waterfalls. A must visit is the Marton Arms. Thank you for hosting - it will be a return visit for us all year.

Christmas break

Lovely site which is very well kept. Shower & toilet areas spotless. Would definitely go again later in the year when the weather is better.

A lovely site in great location

This is a lovely site just off the A65 and despite this we slept really well, we didn't notice any road noise. We stayed boxing day and also returned over the new year. The pitches are all flat and most are serviced, The facilities are spotlessly clean and warm with underfloor heating. If I could add anything to make this perfect, it would be a drying room, as they can't do anything about the weather, but I think that new years 2024 was spectacularly wet! We will definitely return.

Pre Christmas Hymer break.

Pre Christmas break. Absolutely immaculate site. Really large pitched. The showers/loos are fabulous. Easy walk to Marton Arms and into the village where there are brilliant bars and pubs. We’ll be back. Thankyou.

Fantastic Site

Had a fantastic 3 nights. Thanks so much. Your site is amazing and spotless, we did the Whernside Hike and had some amazing meals in The Marton Arms. Peaks & Troughs in Ingleton and some great drinks in the Wheatsheaf. Will be definitely be back at every opportunity 😁😁😁😁

Relaxing weekend

This is the second time we have stayed at Thornbrook Barn and it is a lovely, quiet site, well laid out with clean facilities. Arrivals is straight forward as you receive all the site details and pitch number prior to arrival. So on the day you tip up, find your pitch and set up - all hassle free.

2 night motorhome stay

A first class site, in a good location. Peaceful and scenic surroundings, with large fully serviced pitches available. Excellent washroom facilities, they were immaculately clean. I was very impressed with the visitor information room. Fully automated access and exit, so no personal contact with the site owners. It lacked the personal touch, but I would definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

Amazing campsite

This site was amazing, will definitely be coming back. Immaculate everywhere, had everything we needed. Beautiful views and a great location to explore the local areas. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Thornbrook Barn

Having been to Ingleton & Ingleborough a few times over the years, so it was really nice to find a campsite that was so close and central to all the memories that we were revisiting this weekend. The site is absolutely spotlessly clean with the shower blocks having piped music throughout the day. Its the first time I've ever had a bit of a boogie in a shower cubicle when taking a shower whilst camping. The pitches are very generous and very well maintained as are all the facilities. The convenience of the farm shop & cafe approximately 200mtr from the site entrance is fabulous and the food there is delicious. So too is the food served at The Marton Arms just 10 minutes walk up the road. For all real ale drinkers that pub serves the best Black Sheep ale I've tasted in a very long time. I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to Thornbrook Barn any time, it's definitely the best campsite we have stayed at for many years. And we'll definitely be going back very soon.

Excellent site

This site was immaculate, from the maintenance of the grounds to the cleanliness of the facilities. The information received via email prior to arrival contained everything we needed, including pitch number and automatic barrier entrance via number plate recognition. The site is within easy walking distance of a pub and Ingleton village, where we commenced the circular walk of the Ingleton falls. This cost £10 per adult, it was difficult underfoot in parts but wearing sturdy walking boots helped. We only stayed for 2 nights, but there are lots of walks and cycle routes in the area.

Lovely site and location

Lovely site, well laid out (map of site and location directions were excellent). Facilities were immaculate (better than some 5* we've stayed in). Located in walking distance for the village and local pub, also, Ingleton waterfalls and white scar caves. Would definitely recommend and hope to revisit.

Excellent site

What a lovely site. Fantastic spacious pitches, lovely views and a spotless shower block. Shop 2 minutes walk (Country Harvest), pub 10 minutes walk with beer garden, 15 -20 walk in to Ingleton, which has lovely views. Looking forward to coming back in spring. Thanks, Alan & Mandy.

Easy access from the A65. Lovely location, great walking, nice pub nearby. Lovely, warm and clean facilities. Very secure.

First proper camper van trip using awning

Very tranquil, peaceful site. Very clean toilets and showers. Amazing views of Yorkshire peaks & limestone crags. Excellent location for walks - close to Ingleton for the waterfall trail and Ingleborough peak. We enjoyed an excellent meal at The Marton Arms pub, a ten minute walk away. Was great having your own water supply next to your pitch. We will be back!

Lovely, quiet site

Lovely, quiet site. Close to Ingleton and waterfalls walk, short walk. Wi-Fi is poor but didn't affect out stay. Washing and toilet facilities were very clean and well thought out. Great dog exercise area too. We would return again.

This is a fantastic campsite, It is very clean, lovely spacious pitches, all areas well tended, the shower block and all other facilities are so clean, warm and bright. In a lovely location, good walks, good places to eat in walking distance and 10% off in the Country Harvest Shop just over the road. 10 out of 10 campsite!

Lovely site

This was our second visit at Thornbrook Barn, and again the standards of the site are five star. It's well-maintained, the toilets and shower facilities are immaculate, the site is nice and quiet, has good size pitches and feels private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
