Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jun 2023 Lovely little site. Beautiful views over the Cleveland Hills.

Lovely location
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding and Grass Pitches May 2023 Beautiful location and good facilities. Showers are lovely. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
This is the second time we've stayed and if in the area again, will use this site.

Location is beautiful
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Location is beautiful and we enjoyed walking directly from the site. However, the water in the dishwashing area and the handbasin was cold. On a site that is open all year that needs to be addressed. That said we would use it again because of the location.

I am sorry that you did not give me a call when on site so I could have told you how to get hot water.
As it's a water heater, if it has not been used for a while, you have to run the tap till it gets hot as the water in the pipes gets cold.

Motorhome - Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Peaceful, quiet and nice and polite, friendly young man looking after it.
Beautiful views but need a car even for basic things.
Toilets are not disabled friendly and only 4 toilets and 2 showers, no his and hers.

I am sorry you weren't happy with the numbers of toilets and showers we have but they are adequate for the size of our site. We don't do male and female because we want to get maximum benefit out of them.

Friendly, pleasant site
Single Axle Caravan - Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Great location and lovely views to the hills across the fields. The pitch was generous and clean, which suited us perfectly.
We arrived for the busy bank holiday weekend, so expected busy roads and site etc. We found the site to be quiet and quite sociable, we met the owners and had a daily chat on the rounds. Patch the dog was a fond favourite for the children. Facilities were a little limited with the number of guests, but as a young family, we had the children playing around the caravan as we waited for an opening and kept our days relaxed.
Thank you for a pleasant stay, we would recommend and return.

Most of the year we have plenty, it's just bank holidays.
Absolutely loved South view, especially John and Patch!
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches Aug 2022 What a wonderful view from the site. Great location for Redcar, Saltburn on Sea, Middlesbrough. Lots to see and do in the area. Met John and Patch, these two made our overnight stay very entertaining. Facilities very clean and well set out. Easy to use site. Quiet secluded getaway from the bustle of life. Highly recommend to anyone who wants peace, calm and would like a great walk out and about - ask John, he will direct you anywhere with lots of local knowledge.

Lovely location
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely location, warm welcome from Tom. Showers were not very clean but rest of bathroom facilities were okay.
Had problem with our electric feed which was probably our inexperience, owner wasn't able to help but we managed on our van battery.

Sorry that you weren't fully happy with your stay. We are always checking toilets and showers.
As far as the electric is concerned, ours are all tested and working properly - I think you may need to get your van checked.
Lovely friendly site with great facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Beautiful, picturesque views from the site with a warm friendly welcome. Brian came to check we were ok on arrival and John popped by regularly throughout our stay.
There were plenty of facilities for the number of pitches on site and they were checked regularly for cleanliness, toilet roll top ups etc.
The location was perfect for visiting Cleveland/North Yorkshire area. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
