Lovely peaceful stay, and friendly site

Nice peaceful site with all facilities you would need for a weekend stay, would book again, and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely stay

Last minute booking. Stayed 2 nights in a tent. Site is very tidy, orderly, and well set out. Owners take a lot of pride in the site and it's well maintained. Good for a base camp for exploring up and down the coast. Perfect if you have little ones. Have a big field right next door for younger one to play games on that is safe and out of way of the pitches.

Lovely campsite with amenities. Clean and tidy. Close to Bridlington, Filey and Hornsea.

Lovely campsite

A lovely stay with brilliant facilities. The campsite is peaceful and quiet while still being welcoming to dogs and children which was a must for us. The facilities are clean and tidy, and the pitches are spacious. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and informative. We'll definitely stay again.

What a fantastic find

What a lovely site, friendly owner that went above and beyond to accommodate. Fantastic facilities well kept and a pleasure to use. Pitches and site have a national trust feel about them. Owners clearly very passionate about presentation and a commitment to campers.

Mill Farm Campsite

Lovely campsite and clean facilities, with great dog walking area. Large grass pitches and really quiet after 10pm. The issue is that access to the beach is non existent locally, which is a real shame as the campsite is lovely.

No recommended

No drones, no wood BBQ, no access to the beach on both sides. Public sink with two taps - hot and cold, but you have hold top of tap to get water. Very difficult to wash hands or dishes. Back to 1980 to save water and electricity.

Thank you for your review. The drone taking off early in the morning with a camera attached and flying over other holiday makers is not being considerate to other people. The rules on wood fires are clearly stated on the listing with campsites.co.uk. Regarding the taps yes, they are press on taps but we all need to save water and electricity, there are plugs in each of the sinks.

Lovely peaceful site

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Owners were very friendly and accommodating when I needed a different pitch due to my particular caravan. Large roomy pitches. Facilities clean and well kept. Would recommend.

Mill Farm site

Nice little campsite, the owners were very helpful Shower/toilets nice and clean, and well maintained. Good location for us, as we went to Bridlington one day and Beverley next day. We will use this site again.

Very peaceful

If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you. Very peaceful and quiet on the edge of Skipsea. The site itself is very clean with the shower/toilet block immaculate. Very large pitches on well looked after grass. The pub in the village and on Skipsea holiday park around half a mile away both do food.

Hidden gem

Any campsite where there are bunches of fresh flowers in the bathrooms deserves more than a second glance. Mill Farm benefits from a great location near Skipsea but the standout features are the cleanliness, maintenance and attention to detail on site. We got a warm welcome and useful advice too - all in all, a great experience. Locally, the beach is nice and quiet but has very limited access - and some of the cliff erosion looks rather recent. We ventured to Hornsea but found on reflection that the best food and drink was to be had local to the campsite at the Board Inn. One word of caution - be aware of the bus timetables, as services are few and far between!

Great little site, away from crowds

Very welcome greeting from the owner, clean and tidy. Large field with plenty of space and big pitches. Other field had regular caravan visitors. Quiet and peaceful. 15 min walk to Mr Moo's. Spotted a regular bus service. Sweet village. Visited pub briefly, well frequented by locals! Field is a little bumpy but didn't affect our stay. Take the chocks if you are in a van!

Our stay

What can I say, owners were amazing and accommodated me, put me next to shower block for ease as I'm disabled. Can't thank them enough! But shower blocks were very cold. Some guests took over shower blocks as there were only two, had to wait a very long time to get. Plus, they messed them up and the men's. My brother, who stayed in his tourer, told the boys off for smearing hand soap all over the men's bathroom as it was dangerous to walk on & he's disabled too! The disabled toilet was an added bonus and I thanked the owner so much. Cleanliness wasn't their fault, it was the other people on site! Also, some late ones came opposite us on the Sunday night and kept us awake all night, driving in and out, and there children running around our caravan all night. The plots they put you on are roomy and honestly, was so peaceful until just an odd group. Hasn't put me off, we would love to come back - hopefully same plot 27 please 🤞

We only stayed 1 night

Site okay if you want a quiet break, no signal, no TV signal, lights out at 10 o'clock. Not for us unfortunately. We only stayed 1 night then left. Nice site, clean toilets and shower, but there is no signal for phones and we couldn't get TV signal either, so had there been a emergency at home, we couldn't be reached.

Thank you for your review. Phone signal is available on the field, depending on the company you are with. TV is also available, but I am sorry you did not receive a signal. In the case of an emergency, a message can be sent to our office for us to pass on to you. Re lights out, the toilets building is lit all night, but quiet time is 10:00pm.

Friendly and clean site

Extremely friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile for a drone incident! Small site but kept very clean. The washroom was clean although slightly dated. Not a lover of timed out showers, but the water was nice and hot. Unusually, we couldn't find a plastic waste bin? Superb pub down the road and the food was top notch. Would recommend the site though.

Great little site

Great site, very quiet due to time of year, I can see it being very busy in summer months. Could do with a electric upgrade to 16 amp, but managed on the 10 amp fine. Showers and toilets were clean. Short walk to the social club and local pub, both offer good food and entertainment. No beach access so have to go to Mr Moo's down the road to access the beach. An enjoyable stay.

Nice off-grid camping

Lovely campsite. Busy, but as expected on a bank holiday. Not loads to do if you don't want to drive, but overall a good location if you don't want to be contacted by phone or Internet! It seems the East Riding are not on EE! Bliss.
