Lovely peaceful site

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Mill Farm. It's a lovely quiet and peaceful site. We were pitched on the large field. Pitches are all around the edge here so there's plenty of room for children to play in the middle. There's a woodland dog walking area just across the road from the campsite. This was lovely, secure and had ample space to allow dogs off the lead. There are only two showers in each male/female blocks but we rarely had to wait. Facilities look quite old but they're lovely and clean. Skipsea itself didn't have a lot to do. The coast is eroding here so there's plenty are areas that aren't safe to walk. We used the campsite as a base and travelled to Bridlington, Filey and Flamborough Head.

Calm, clean and lovely

Welcoming. Very well maintained site. Lovely area for tents. Quiet and peaceful. Bins well organised and area clean and tidy. Everything easy - drinking water, washing up. Shower block very clean, plenty of toilets and wash basins. Showers adequate, plenty of hot water. If site had been full, I imagine you might have to wait to shower at peak times, but wasn't an issue on our trip. Would recommend without hesitation.

Excellent site, will be returning it's so peaceful and clean. Great site and facilities - we extended our stay due to how lovely it is.

Perfect quiet location, lovely well kept grounds.

Lovely site

Stayed here for four nights. The site was well kept and the facilities were very clean. A quiet and peaceful site, with spacious pitches. The owners were very welcoming and the lady at reception told us about the local history and interesting walks. Will definitely be returning.

A great camp find

Our first time at Mill Farm. We absolutely loved it. The peacefulness, the lovely, helpful friendly owerners of the site, going above and beyond to help and accommodate us whilst we were there. Will definitely be going back - children already asking if they can go again 👍😁🩷

Best campsite in Skipsea

This is an absolutely fantastic sight. Quiet, clean, lovely and flat, and everything you need to have a comfortable happy stay. Brilliant that it's dog friendly with a generous dog walking patch across from the site. The owner was so helpful when we arrived explaining what we needed to know.

Well looked after site

Fantastic campsite and already looking forward to visiting again Well looked after site, friendly and helpful owners. Very spacious pitch's and will certainly return. Location was fantastic and looking at booking again in a few weeks. A must visit from me and my husband. :-)

Lovely, quiet site

Great little site. Clean facilities and level pitches. Sweet little local pub just up the road. Be prepared to drive to the beaches and neighbouring towns as this is a rural location which we loved. If I'm in the area again I'll be back.

Lovely site

The site is well maintained and very clean. Plenty of room for the children to run around and play. The owner is friendly and helpful. The site is peaceful situated on the outskirts of the village but within walking distance. A twenty minute drive to either Bridlington or Hornsea where you will find great beaches. Would recommend Mill Farm Country Park.

Lovely camping

Quiet and spacious camping in the countryside. The facilities are good but basic. Very nice welcome by the staff.

Lovely stay

Last minute booking. Stayed 2 nights in a tent. Site is very tidy, orderly, and well set out. Owners take a lot of pride in the site and it's well maintained. Good for a base camp for exploring up and down the coast. Perfect if you have little ones. Have a big field right next door for younger one to play games on that is safe and out of way of the pitches.

Lovely campsite

A lovely stay with brilliant facilities. The campsite is peaceful and quiet while still being welcoming to dogs and children which was a must for us. The facilities are clean and tidy, and the pitches are spacious. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and informative. We'll definitely stay again.

What a fantastic find

What a lovely site, friendly owner that went above and beyond to accommodate. Fantastic facilities well kept and a pleasure to use. Pitches and site have a national trust feel about them. Owners clearly very passionate about presentation and a commitment to campers.

Mill Farm Campsite

Lovely campsite and clean facilities, with great dog walking area. Large grass pitches and really quiet after 10pm. The issue is that access to the beach is non existent locally, which is a real shame as the campsite is lovely.

No recommended

No drones, no wood BBQ, no access to the beach on both sides. Public sink with two taps - hot and cold, but you have hold top of tap to get water. Very difficult to wash hands or dishes. Back to 1980 to save water and electricity.

Thank you for your review. The drone taking off early in the morning with a camera attached and flying over other holiday makers is not being considerate to other people. The rules on wood fires are clearly stated on the listing with campsites.co.uk. Regarding the taps yes, they are press on taps but we all need to save water and electricity, there are plugs in each of the sinks.

Lovely peaceful site

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Owners were very friendly and accommodating when I needed a different pitch due to my particular caravan. Large roomy pitches. Facilities clean and well kept. Would recommend.

Mill Farm site

Nice little campsite, the owners were very helpful Shower/toilets nice and clean, and well maintained. Good location for us, as we went to Bridlington one day and Beverley next day. We will use this site again.

Very peaceful

If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you. Very peaceful and quiet on the edge of Skipsea. The site itself is very clean with the shower/toilet block immaculate. Very large pitches on well looked after grass. The pub in the village and on Skipsea holiday park around half a mile away both do food.
