Clear filters Lovely campsite - we will be back I'm sure
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2025 What an idyllic spot! The campsite felt welcoming & we absolutely loved all the animals, especially the donkey foal and the peacocks.
The facilities were clean & functional.
If the weather isn't great, it's quite exposed being on the tops, so it might get a bit wild. Luckily the weather was excellent and the short walk down to Robin Hood's Bay was an added bonus.
We really enjoyed our stay & plan to stay again.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Great spacious pre book pitches, lovely views all round, lovely and quiet and is literally a nice scenic walk to robin hoods bay town, food in the bistro was excellent and ice cream shop that does rum and raisin ice-cream 🤤
Site is immaculate, from the pitches to the toilets and hot water shower. All in all a great stay and we will definitely be there again 👍
Camping time

The site is very quiet and has the best views.15 min walk to Robin Hoods bay beach.
Great toilets and shower which was always clean. Will definitely be back again soon.
Perfect couple of days

The facilities were spotless.

Nice, calm and relaxing site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Had a lovely stay at the campsite, was contacted by the host via text to confirm Eta, then welcomed at gate. The host was friendly and welcoming, and gave us information of facilities, along with helpful information about the surrounding area.
It was great to pitch the tent, ground is nice and even, and soft but firm enough for the tent pegs, I didn't encounter any rocks with the pegs. They also try to keep pitches spaced apart over 6 meters away from each other, and this made for a peaceful stay.
The site has fantastic views of the sea, and we were treated to the stars at night due to low light pollution.

More space between the hard standing pitches would be nice but it has everything we needed. £28 off season with no EHU felt a bit steep, but it's very nice and location is stunning. I would stay here again.
Nice quiet spot

A fantastic location for walks to Robin Hoods Bay and Boggle Hole. I felt it was on the pricey side for solo travellers.
Great location
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Dec 2024 Just a short walk on the Cleveland Way into Robin Hoods Bay. A level site, the pitches were not too close and the facilities were as stated. We had a lovely welcome from the site owner too.
Christmas get away
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Dec 2024 Everything was great, lovely hosts and if we needed them we could get in contact.
It was just the toilets/shower area that let it down for me, we only had one shower which was not very warm and could be an issue when loads of people want to stay.
I felt that the outdoor toilet/shower area was not put together the best, but I would stay again as it was a great view and a really close walking distance to town.
Lovely stay
Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Nov 2024 Perfect location, the site was very clean and tidy. Beautiful views. The facilities were good and clean.
The only thing we didn't like was being asked to keep our dog on a lead in an enclosed field, he didn't bother the animals and doesn't go far. We would suggest other visitors to bring a long lead to secure to their pitch.
Other than that a lovely stay and we would return.

Lovely place to stay!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2024 We loved our brief weekend here. We were in a small van and there was enough facilities to make it a comfortable stay- they were all as described in the site listing.
All the toilets were very clean. Great access to the surrounding areas, with both Robin Hoods Bay and Boggle Hole being a 10 minute walk away and Whitby only a 25 minute drive. A very friendly atmosphere on site, we'll definitely be coming back in the new year!

Great 15 minute but walk along the Cleveland path into Robin Hood's Bay for quaint pubs, great beer and fish & chips. The path has many steps down into the bay but is well walked, torch needed after dusk.
Facilities are cute, the farmer has made a lot of effort with lighting and planting around the toilet and shower block. One shower with £1 honesty box, clean but I don't know in high season if it would be enough. Didn't use it because we were only there for one night so I can't review it properly.
Loved the free range chickens, sheep and donkeys (in fields) but there are 3 unsightly old horse lorries which do spoil the view out to RHB.

Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Wonderful views but basic facilities. Weather was kind to us one day but rained overnight. Grass was long so damp, wet feet.
Enjoyed walk into Robin Hood's Bay and it was great that we could just book a 1 night stay.

We were there two nights and saw the toilets being cleaned several times. The facilities were very clean. Would definitely return and recommend!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding and Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2024 We had a fantastic stay for what was meant to be two nights, but ended up being three, because we enjoyed it so much.
The views were spectacular, it was quiet (we did go mid week, out of school holidays), and the facilities were clean and functional. For a remote location, the phone signal is excellent!
Costal footpath leading to Robin Hood's Bay village to the north, and Boggle Hole beach to the south, both worth a visit. The campsite is also right next to national cycle route 1, giving a the chance of a pleasant, if hilly, ride to Scarborough or Staithes.
The owner, Heidi, was friendly and had lots of information about the local area.
