Sprinter-Type Campervan - Gravel and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 Nice quiet campsite near to Robinhood's Bay. Bar on site is a nice touch, as is the local pub a stones throw away.
My only reservation with re-booking would be the amenities. For the price, the toilet/shower block is quite low rent compared to other sites. For one night it was fine, seems little ventilation so when a couple of people were in the shower just walking in left you feeling clammy on exit, but for a longer stay I may be be put off.
Little gem
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Gravel and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 I looked at reviews before we booked , and was a bit hesitant as some reviews had a moan about showers and space. I'm not sure where they stayed but think they must have been on different site.. lol..
Reception were very helpful and happy, pitch was good size, bar/food was great ..showers clean and hot. What I liked was most people staying there had stayed before and highly rated site. Well that's telling me something! Site was very clean and well looked after, we will definitely returning.

We booked the wrong date accidentally and Dee was amazing in getting this resolved for us promptly and without additional cost. Can't thank Dee enough for that. We had just purchased our camper and this site was her maiden voyage.
The site is spotlessly clean and really well kept. We ate in the cafe bar for dinner/drinks and then breakfast-both meals were great value, really tasty and the portions plentiful. We also used the shop, I was impressed there was no upsell on the electricity cards for hook up and the staff actually ask what appliances you intend to use so they can advise the right amount to buy. We had a great first time out in our van, gave us the chance to test the awning etc and the staff were all really helpful.#
Bonus points from our dogs to the cafe for giving them sausages when we had breakfast there. We will definitely be back to this site.

2 night camping trip
Small Tent - Small Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2025 Lovely 2 night stay here, camping grounds were well maintained with lots of space for each pitch.
On site bar was very good, however toilets and showers were not the cleanest and needs a bit of an update.

Away with the grandchildren
Motorhome - Gravel and Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Didn't realise cafe restaurant was only open weekends. Purchased electric card, only needed them for fridge, freezer and to charge phone, but didn't last a full day. As I've never used them before, now I know how quickly they run out. Grandchildren had a lovely time and made friends.

Lovely site
Motorhome - Gravel and Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 Had a lovely 3 night stay as a couple but there were lots of families too.
Site is spotless, so is the toilet and shower block. Bar and restaurant are great and very reasonable price. Food is very good value and very tasty. Staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Dog friendly and a huge dog field.
No issues with paying for the electric as some did complain about it.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Camping Pod - Family Camping Pods Apr 2025 We will be back, it's such a great place.
We had a lovely time. Facilities are great, the pod was fab. We just took everything we would for camping without the tent. Defo saves the hassle of having to set up a tent, facilities were clean.
Onsite bar was good, food was good and freshly cooked. Staff were lovely. We had a lovely time.
Short bus routes to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Regular buses 🚌 from the local pub. We will be back over summer,

Helped with our late arrival and communication and assistance. Very nice cared for areas, neat and landscaped.
Weekend get-away
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Gravel and Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Mar 2025 Great customer service and the perfect site if you want to get away from the seaside crowds.
The site is located 60 mins walk from Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay, so ideal if you're a walker or you could cycle along the cinder track that passes the site and connects Whitby with RHB. Would I use the site again? Yes!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Gravel and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Mar 2025 Great site with good clean facilities. Nice onsite café bar. Very handy for getting to both Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay via the Cinder Track. Pub in High Hawsker was reasonably priced.
Excellent stay
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel and Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Mar 2025 I stayed at York House Caravan Park and would definitely recommend this site.
The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The campsite, even though it was quite busy, was so quiet. The toilet/shower block was so clean.
I used the on site bar for my evening meal and again for breakfast the following morning. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and definitely value for money.

Motorhome - Gravel and Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Mar 2025 This was our first motorhome trip and I chose York House due to its location and surrounding village, local pub, plus convenience to walk into Whitby either via Cinder track or the more challenging Cleveland Way.
The General Manager was very accommodating, along with the rest of her team. The site was spotless, amenities excellent, plenty of hot water in showers and everything you need for a hassle free break.
Thanks again for a lovely couple of days and may I wish you well for the coming summer season.
Nice campsite

The campsite was very well maintained, the showers were hot, but didn't stay on for more than 20 seconds so repeated pressing was in order. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean.
I thought there may have been another shower block given the size of the site, only 4 showers, and 4 of the 6 toilets were open for use.
Campsite do's and don'ts were evident which was good to see. I would recommend York House.
