Clear filters Beautiful clean site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Beautiful, family friendly site. Nice secluded pitches and very clean.
Everyone respected the peacefulness and it was very quiet at night. The children loved the adventure playground. Great location as a base to explore and a range of things.
Only negative for us was having a child with a dog phobia - dog owners not obeying the 'on lead at all times' rule and there being a hook to tie your dog up when you use the amenities right next to the door which meant the children wouldn't go in if a dog was there as the dog was blocking the door.
Great site offering a super stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 We came for a quick night in the campervan and what a gem we found. Nurseries Caravan Park has everything you could need, great hosts, lovely location and pitches, facilities are fab. We were treated to a mobile pizza van turning up meaning we could have dinner without travelling off site.
We'll be back.

Great stay
Twin Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Super Pitches Mar 2025 Campsite was really tidy and maintained. Playground was well looked after for kids to burn off some energy and was close to our pitch.
Lady on desk was nice and helpful at check in, seeing if we needed any directions to anywhere, but with only being there a couple of nights, we had already planned what we were going to do. Facilities were very clean, the seat in the shower was really handy when I was showering my toddler. Didn't like the push button showers as it was hard to keep it going and keep my toddler warm between washing him, but I get why you have them.
Really easy to get to as it was two roads altogether from where we live. Would definitely return.

Lovely site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Lovely site, if it wasn't for the noise of the traffic on the nearby road, I would have given it 5*.
The site had nice clean facilities and was surrounded with a wooded area full of bird song, which was nice. Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Would recommend if traffic noise isn't an issue.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Clean and well maintained site with good facilities.
The only criticism would be, we could hear quite a bit of car/road noise in the afternoon and in to the evening.
York break
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Arrived at site as planned time, given enough information to start our break.
Hardstandings are very good, motorhome service area very good. Amenities very clean and well looked after. Security on site excellent, each booking has an individual code to operate electric gates. As a couple, we tend to pick sites with bus stop nearby, this site I would suggest is a 15 - 20 minute walk, and best be early as buses are hourly to York.
Overall, our visit was extremely well managed both from wardens and maintenance team. Would recommend to anyone wishing to to visit York.
Note: if you wanted to take a vehicle into York, parking charges are an extremely high cost.

Motorhome - Hardstanding Super Pitches Mar 2025 A very well kept site. Facilities were clean & staff were friendly & helpful.
A relatively small site that was full but was still a relaxing & peaceful place at night.
We just booked for 1 night but would definitely go again.

A fabulous campsite, staff very friendly and welcoming, facilities really clean, lovely and quiet. Great location for York, perfect for dog walking, we will definitely be going again š
Autumn break in beautiful surroundings
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 This is a beautiful site situated between trees, giving lots of privacy between pitches. Near park and ride thus avoiding taking car into York. Shower facilities warm, lots of hot water, very clean. A games room with table tennis, air hockey and snooker table all free to use. Extremely warm welcome on arrival.
Will be looking to book again in the Spring as run out of time to explore all of York, which was absolutely amazing.
Beautiful, quiet campsite
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 Fabulous pretty, quiet site, good size pitches, with everything you need, good location with a bus stop to York just 15 minutes walk away. Great dog walk alongside the park and a good children's playing area. There was also a good pub, which was a mile away.
Staff were great, friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return!

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 This was the second time we have stayed at the Nurseries park and I cannot fault it. We enjoyed our last short break before storing the caravan for winter.

We arrived late, someone was available to open the gate and show us our pitch, woodland setting and the pitch (11) was spacious with an electric hookup.
The showers are very clean with hot water, the lighting on the pathway was a great idea. It was a very clean site with a washing up area and a recycling point.

Beautiful campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 Beautiful place, only downside was being woken at 2am to what sounded like rally bikes. It was very noisy and we couldnāt sleep after that.

Nice and clean
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 As this is our first venture into caravanning, we can't judge against any others.
The site is very quiet and clean, the shower block is really nice, with added use of washing machine and dryer, at additional cost.
There is a play area for children and the location is ideal for York.
Tidy campsite close to York
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Clean campsite not far from York city centre. Helpful staff, shower cubicles, toilets and separate sinks with overhead mirrors. Set in lovely peaceful woodland area near main road but not noisy.
Walkable to Woodthorpe (20mins) with Tesco Express, pub and curry takeaway. Would go again.
