We had an amazing stay at Beltonville Farm. The couple who own the farm are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The site is a short walk from Millers Dale and a 15 min drive each way between Buxton and Bakewell. The farm shop is amazing and a godsend for a hot coffee or tea when camping. The showers are hot and powerful and well kept. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come again!
Stunning views, peaceful place

We didn’t want to leave this beautifully located, peaceful place, in the heart of Derbyshire. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic showers. Rent a fire pit. What’s not to love? We will be back :-)
Would stay again

A bigger campsite than I am used to, but the owners manage to keep a really friendly personal vibe. Farm shop is great, didn't try cafe but looked well run and good value. Toilets and showers all good, bit busy at around 9am. Pitches are a free for all so I'd advise getting in near 4pm to get your pick of spots. We stayed in lower field next to the chickens and goats. We had the inevitable wake up call at dawn, but site nice and quiet to get back to sleep and could easily have pitched well away from chickens. We had easy drives to derwent resevoir for swimming at Slippery Stones and then Dovedale next day, but loads of lovely walks from campsite like the Tunnels route to Buxton. Great value, would stay again : )

We stayed for a night at this lovely family run campsite. We had clear directions when arriving and there was a lot of space for pitching our tent. The showers and toilets were very clean. We had a big space in the field for playing rounders and good places to walk the dog. We had breakfast at the lovely cafe and the owners could not have gone to more trouble to accommodate our wishes for the variation of full English breakfasts for us. The service was really good. The shop has a good range of products plus some beautiful handmade chocolates. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site and hopefully will visit again.

Fabulous site. The showers were some of the hottest most powerful showers I've ever had! Staff so friendly and helpful. Location is second to none with walks off the door step. Pub 10 mins walk away.

As title says really. Lovely staff, good facilities (but showers cut out in about a minute and wouldn’t go warm), fire pits are great. Cafe is nice, too. Will definitely return.

Friendly welcome on arrival, nice views, close (but steep) access to the Monsal trail. Facilities were basic looking but actually modern, smart and regularly cleaned. Despite a busy weekend, never had to wait for a toilet and showers were hot and strong! Would revisit.
Make sure you take big tent pegs!!

Windy site with shallow soft ground. Make sure you take big tent pegs!! Nearly lost ours in the middle of the night. Showers are free but didn't work Sunday and ran at 12 degrees, which was a wake-up call. Pitches are reasonably level and have lots of space. Overall a good site, but is very exposed.

Absolutely fabulous campsite. Really enjoyed our time there. Showers were the best campsite showers I’ve ever used. Toilets were immaculately clean. Staff were friendly and super-helpful. Shop and brand new cafe were brilliant. Thank you Beltonville: we will be back.

We went as a group of 7 and had a fantastic time. The site is lovely, well maintained, clean and quiet. Showers are good pressure and hot. The cakes from the cafe are delicious and the farm shop is handy to get additional basics such as bread and bacon. We were able to walk from the site over to millers Dale village and along the River Wye, picking up the Monsal Trail. Other villages are a very short dive away all giving easy access to Monsal Trail and footpaths all around. The site has chickens (free to roam) and goats around with cows just over the wall who occasionally come to say hello. We all said we would happily come back to stay again as we enjoyed it so much. :)
Everything we wanted

We've just come home from 3 nights away at Beltonville. Right from the initial booking to arriving and the duration of our stay, every staff member has been amazing. They just opened their new café on site whilst we were there and we were lucky enough to sample the menu... absolutely delicious breakfast, the staff were attentive, polite and meticulous - we could tell there had been so much effort put into the opening of the café and the site. We stayed in the top field, love how we can pick our own pitch. You can also hire firepits and buy logs from the onsite shop. The facilities are cleaned throughout the day and never without toilet roll and soap. They do have everything you need so no need to pack the kitchen sink haha. We are definitely coming back here it was a delight talking to the owners and hearing their plans for the site moving forward and all the hard work and effort they've put in it clearly shows. The location is great for walks and few local pubs, we had a lovely meal at the Anglers Rest.
Absolutely gorgeous

Firstly welcomed by a lovely lady who made me and my friend really welcome, as this was our first trip away together. The field was huge and the views were amazing from the campsite. Endless footpaths nearby with a 20 min walk to the Monsal trail, where you can find hours of lovely footpaths. Facilities were spotless, cleaned daily and it was a lovely place to stay. Fully recommend.

Really hot and powerful showers. Good clean toilet blocks, separate male and female which were cleaned every morning. Washing up facilities and rubbish disposal. Some of the ground was quite hard to peg in. Choice of a higher or lower field. The site was quite windy. Very quiet at night.
