Fantastic site with great vibe

Lovely clean, well maintained site in a perfect location for New Forest cycling. The beer tent, pizzas and coffee bar were a nice touch. Will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic night away

My daughter and I normally stay at Holmsley campsite but it was full. I'm so glad it was otherwise I would never have stayed here. It was really clean, the adult area was quiet the facilities were great and the morning coffee and pastries amazing. My daughter has special needs and feels safer in a quiet environment this was perfect. We will be back. Thankyou

Great site, shame there were no BBQ's or cooking allowed

Booked as it states BBQ's and fires allowed. Turned up and BBQ's / fires are not allowed.

Wow! Set the bar very high for future camps

I have recently converted a VW caddy into a camper & I was really apprehensive about choosing which campsite to visit for the first outing and we couldn’t have found a better one. From start to finish it was just a lovely experience, really welcoming and informative experience at reception, amazing facilities such as; a pizza van, bar, really warm showers and very clean toilets! There was a choice of an adult only bit or the family bit, both had a great atmosphere!! Would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking to book in a great location in the new forest!

Fantastic weekend!

Everything about the site was fabulous, the staff were amazing, , the facilities spotlessly clean and then add on Harry’s Bar (with some fab background music), The Pizza Hut, coffee and croissants - what’s not to love! Thank you Vivienne and your team for a great weekend - we will def see you again!

Our visit

Good welcome at reception, then picked a pitch on the adults only field. This site is very basic. We were situated in the middle of the airfield with 2 portable loos at both the top and bottom of the site. Over the weekend, as the site became busy the toilets were smelly and often dirty. The toilets were cleaned daily, however. There are several water stations (only cold) on the field. It really would benefit having hot water, somewhere to charge your phone and to store ice packs. There are showers on the adjacent airfield but was quite a walk away but were hot and clean. Weekends there is an area where a bar and pizza available. No rubbish bins were provided except near the entrance which again was a long way away. Very expensive campsite with the facilities on offer.

Fab one night stay - wish it was more

What a gorgeous little campsite! Basic enough to feel like you're in with nature but enough to have comfort (hot, clean showers and the good value bar that cooks pizzas and bacon butties). All staff were super friendly and helpful and relaxed with the furry pets too. Absolutely loved our one night stay and will 100% be coming back.

A perfect campsite

A perfect place. Friendly staff, communal area with: bar, pizza, barista, fire pit and seating area. Close to beaches. Plenty of space for children. Will definitely return.

Lovely canpsite

Plenty of space for children to play. Clean, hot showers and washing up stations. Good eco compost toilets. New Forest walks right on hand and handy pizzas, bar and pastries!

Great vibe

Brilliant experience had by all. Kids loved it. Enjoyable site, brilliant staff and great inventive facilities horse box bar and pizzeria. Would definitely go again. Separate section for adults without young kids works well. Dog friendly and well run.

Would definitely go again

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Showers were warm and good pressure with sink, mirror and lights. Nice shack selling coffee/alcohol with seating area, as well as pizza van. Lovely place to stay for basic, no frills camping. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends looking for a similar experience.

Mostly good

Very pleasantly surprised. I thought I had booked a site with no facilities but had mistakenly booked this site. The beat mistake ever in human history. Arrived at 16:00 and site was already getting full. Found a space and they took a stroll up to pizza wagon and enjoyed very welcome dinner. Toilet all clean. Did not hear any noise after curfew time. Great for sky watching.

The best value for money

I had a wonderful weekend. the staff were fantastic. The scenery was awesome. I would stay again if the cost of getting around without a car was lower. It was wonderful.

Incredible place and people

I have just got home and felt I had to leave a review. Such an incredible place. Stayed for 2 nights. Easily accessible for such a fab location. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff on site are sooooo friendly. Highly recommend this site. There are several amazing walks in the forest straight from the camp site. If you fancy a cocktail in the evening, pre order a pizza or a freshly brewed coffee in the morning, you find it all here. Cannot wait to get back and enjoy this beautiful place again. To everyone on site, a massive thank you for making my weekend so enjoyable.

Weekend stay - superb location and friendly staff!

We found this gem of a campsite purely by chance! Perfect location and setup with loads of space. Loved the bar hut, pizza and burger setup. Just fantastic and right on the forest too! Only let down, I would say, was the lack of toilets for so many people. Other than that - well done, it was superb!

Good stay, great time even for beginners.

Great site in the New Forest

This is a great pop-up site in an old airfield. All of the staff were very friendly and readily available. In the morning we were able to get pastries from the coffee van and in the evenings pizzas are available - definitely book in advance. There are fire pits available for hire which again I would recommend doing. The shower and toilet facilities were very clean and well maintained.

Lovely site

Lovely rural site, great open spaces, surrounded by wild ponies. Compost toilets and portaloos but clean. Lovely friendly staff and great on site take away pizzas and bar. Would recommend Harry's group of sites and would return.

Lovely site

Lovely site, very relaxed feel. Liked the social area, but site not noisy at night - also a bonus. Toilets/showers kept very clean, although the site would have benefited from more showers and also somewhere to re-freeze ice packs.
