Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2026 Gorgeous campsite with a nearby park for the kids. The toilets & shower facilities were excellent. Friendly staff. I’m would highly recommend it.
Fantastic stay and lovely owners
Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2026 The owners were a lovely couple who were always happy to see you and shown a genuine interest in your day and what you were up too, even offering recommendations on what to do and where to go. It was my first camping trip with my son and they made sure we felt comfortable helping me out if I had forgotten something I.e. the plug extension for the electricity. The on site shop was very handy, well priced, well stocked and open 8am-8pm. The showers and toilet facilities were kept clean throughout and the shower temperature was good too, with no waiting around for a shower as there are multiple available. The weather was great too which obviously helps and is out of anyone’s hands granted. There was a kids park which is a little out the way but it’s nice what they have done with the space. Location wise was good as we found a bike trail one day to go into Bangor (Lon Las Ogwen - beautiful trail) and then the next day we were only a 25 min drive to snowdon to do the Watkin path and waterfalls which were stunning once again. Be careful riding out straight from the campsite though as there are only really busy main roads for some access so this caught me and my young son off guard one night when we nipped out for tea.
Overall great value for money, decent location and lovely customer service. Would definitely think about revisiting in the future especially if thinking of exploring any of the Snowdonia mountain range again.

Roof Tent - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitch May 2026 We visited for the first time on a bank holiday weekend, and can safely say this will be our north wales regular site now whenever we come to do fell hiking. Lovely location, good little petrol station shop round the corner, well maintained site with wonderful showers. Staff super friendly especially as we checked in nearly 2 hours late (9pm) due to traffic. Can not recommend enough.
recent stay VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Campervan Pitches May 2026 the site was okay but felt a little soulless with lots of long stay tourers - fairly sure i was only one of about 4 campers.
The toilets and showers were inaccurate, can’t fault them.
No hairdryer though and no socket to plug one into.
Also, the hard standing porches are an utter nightmare. I had a normal mallet, a wooden one and some proper hardcore pegs for hard surfaces. Absolutely no joy, proved to be a real hastle and i nearly gave up on day one tbh.

Small Tent - Non-Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2026 Tros Y waen was an amazing campsite - beautiful facilities with lovely decor, very clean, friendly welcome with an easy check-in. Lovely flat grass area for camping situated by a gentle stream. Great location for exploring. Highly recommend! :)

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Campervan Pitches Apr 2026 We had a lovely few nights here. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful, answering our emailed questions very fast. Near to Beaumaris which is a lovely town to visit.

Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 A lovely quiet campsite with good facilities and excellent access to the Caernarfon, Bangor, Anglesey and the Eryri National Park.
The toilet and shower blocks, particularly the wooden ones, were clean and the showers were warm and powerful. There are some beautiful views.
The kids' play area was nice but could use a little attention as it's a little tired, although my daughter enjoyed it all the same. The owner was chatty, friendly, and happy to impart knowledge about the local area.
We would definitely visit again.
Great camping destination

The staff were very friendly, the camp site was tidy and the toilets and ablutions were extremely clean always and in very good condition.
The location was also great.
Lovely campsite, great facilities
Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We really enjoyed our stay and always found the facilities to be clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the dog walk which had been freshly mowed and had a lovely stream for the dog to paddle in.
We did find a lot of people sadly had their dogs off lead, despite the campsite guidance, which we found quite stressful as our dog is nervous of new people and dogs.

Generously sized pitches, good clean facilities and very friendly and helpful staff.

Small Tent - Non-Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Fab campsite in a beautiful location.
Great facilities with a communal fridge/freezer and washing up, washer and dryer available for a reasonable price, all very clean and tidy. Firepits available for a reasonable price and the owners were available and happy to help.
Toilets were very clean and spacious. Two showers in facilities building were small and a bit smelly at times but always hot water and a proper shower, so you could choose your temp and always visually clean. More shower facilities in a shepherds hut next door that were much more spacious and clean. However, there was no hot water on the evening we tried them, though better luck might be had in the morning.
Lovely little children's play park located at the end of the campsite with dog walk trail leading off.
Overall, a lovely campsite and would recommend to anyone looking to explore the north of the Eryri national park and coast.

Very tranquil setting with nice short dog walk path. Very helpful site staff. Will visit again when we next visit the area.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Campervan Pitches Aug 2025 This was our first stay, but definitely not our last. We only stayed for one night after arriving at 7pm and we were up extremely early to walk up a hill around the corner.
Location is absolutely stunning, very handy for local attractions and we will be booking again to enjoy it more than the short visit we had, as we were gutted we weren't there longer.
The campsite is beautifully presented and showers and toilets were spotless.
Great size pitches without being on top of each other.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We only stayed for 2 nights, as it was a last minute get away, but have never been more tempted to pull a sickie! It was such a lovely camp site, brilliant location, great facilities, friendly and very peaceful. Within half an hour our girls announced they wanted to come back for a week! Lovely hosts as well.
