Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 This was our first experience with our caravan and we were anxious about absolutely everything.
I knew that I wanted to find an adults only site and with a location that was close to beaches and amenities that we had previous experience of. The Nurseries ticked all the boxes on paper, but the reality exceeded my expectations. Being a small site everything felt more sociable, fellow caravanners were chatty and helpful, the site owners were friendly and were happy to accommodate my request for a pitch close to the toilets and showers due to mobility issues. The site was spotless, dog owners picked up after their pups and the poo bin was never full, despite the number of dogs on site. I was also a fan of the 24/7 "honesty shop" situated in the office and café building. The shop was stocked with a variety of essentials such as toiletries, UHT milk and batteries, as well as having a very useful freezer which contained ice cream, ready meals and other treats. I also liked that dogs were not forgotten, there was a selection of tennis balls and even some gravy bones. I appreciated that there was no massive mark up in prices, being the only shop in walking distance some sites would have taken advantage of this and added a premium to essentials but on The Nurseries site, the "honesty shop" works both ways.
The showers were a particular highlight as they were proper showers, not the ones which have a push button that has to be pressed every 30 seconds and no temperature control. The electric showers had simple controls, (great for me as anything more complex than a 4 colour biro brings me out in a cold sweat), and the cubicles were spacious enough for a full sized shower, a toilet, sink and still plenty of room to move. A third shower would have been helpful as when the site was full the two women's showers were often occupied, especially as they contained two of the three available women's toilets. That really is my only minor negative.
The Nurseries is a lovely quiet site, clean and well kept. The pitches are more than adequate in size, and being surrounded by farm land it was a little haven away from traffic, tourists and noise at unsociable hours. Anyone looking for a secure, clean, adults only retreat with friendly owners and generous pitches will not be disappointed.

Fabulous little site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2025 Would definitely recommend this site,was gutted to leave. The host Dave and Tracey were so welcoming and made sure we were well informed. It’s not a massive site but the pitch sizes were amazing. Great showers,no10 second buttons in site and lovely and hot. Breakfasts available if required in the little cafe all cooked to perfection, even the dogs get a sausage. Can have pizzas or Chinese takeaways delivered to site if you don’t fancy cooking. Lovely and peaceful site. We will 100% be back.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Excellent site and very peaceful well maintained and clean toilets and showers. Superb location for getting to the local towns (Skegness, Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe and Chapel St Leonards).

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 I had a very pleasant stay at this site good size pitches with all the amenities - electric/water/and waste water drainage also the toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water.
The site had its own shop with some basic supplies. They also had a really good cafeteria.
The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, I will stay there again.

Our tent pitch overlooked the fields which was great. The owners were friendly and helpful. The site was clean and tidy. I couldn't find any fault.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Having stayed at the nursery's once before we had a good idea what the site had to offer. However, it had changed hands and usually that meant we would therefore inevitably compare our stay with our previous stop. We had nothing to worry about.
Everything was spotless and clean. Site was kept immaculate and the cafe on site was excellent. Red lion pub in the village was excellent and the meals were delicious and plentiful. Transport nearby was easy to use and generally ran to the times stated.
We will definitely return & highly recommended this site for exploring this part of the country.

Camping Pod - Glamping Pod May 2025 Had a lovely stay at The Nurseries. Stayed in the pod which was very comfortable and cosy. Lovely clean shower and toilet block, great idea having a separate toilet just around the corner from the showers. Great value breakfast on site and a 5 min walk to the pub and a 30 min walk back ha ha. It offers great food and drinks! Paul and Paula thanks for a great stay

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 As we arrived we were greeted by Dave and Paul who showed us both around the facilities and what they had to offer. All the facilities were excellent along with the honesty shop, (which we thought was a nice touch) toilets, showers, our pitch and not forgetting the cafe which Tracy and Dave served us an delicious breakfast both mornings we were there. The location is nice and quiet with lovely views of the countryside 360 around the site. There are a few pubs in close proximity but must advise to book in there for food early should you wish not to cook on site. Overall a lovely campsite with everything you need for a long or short break. We will definitely stay again
