Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2026 Hi we had a great time lovely site etc
Lovely campsite in perfect location. Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2026 This in my view is a perfect site - all the convenience you could possibly wish for without a lot of fuss - really relaxed. Each plot separated by mixed hedging and very spacious individual areas, each one fully serviced. The owners were delightful and friendly. The location is perfect. This was our first visit but am so glad to have found it and feel sure we will be back.
Excellent site Recommends site
Roof Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2026 We chose the site for its location. We wanted to be close to Sutton Hoo as we have a roof tent. Once we're pitched we can't use the car, so being 5 minutes walk away was perfect.
The showers are lovely and hot, all the facilities are good and clean. There's a kettle in the reception hut which came in very handy for breakfast on the last day for the morning cuppa, we didn't want to wait for our cooker to cool off for packing up.
There are pubs within walking distance but the pavement is very narrow and the traffic is fast. It might be a tricky walk after dark. There is a bit of traffic noise until about 10pm until about 7am so if you're sensitive to noise take earplugs.
We had a comfortable couple of nights and will stay there again.
Good Campsite Recommends site
Small Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2026 Ideal location for getting about the area, very hospital hosts, facilities decent, enjoyed our stay very much
Lovely Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Perfect little campsite quiet and very well run. Facilities were clean and adequate for what we needed.
Had a great time on this campsite. Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 The campsite is very well situated next to the Sutton Hoo site, you can walk into it. Also, well situated for exploring the beautiful area. The pitches are large have an hedge either side for privacy and each one has its own tap. There are 2 fridge freezers that guests can use. The toilets and showers are modern. The washing up area is under cover. We took our 9 year old grandchildren and they loved it!
Great time had by all Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Had a lovely time, nice small campsite. Friendly people, excellent facilities and cleaned often. Great area with lots to do & see, thanks
lovely little campsite Recommends site
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 lovely little place, right near Sutton hoo national trust. little play area in the centre for the kids which mine spent most their time on making friends.
We had a walk to The long shed in woodbridge which was about 50 minutes along the waters edge.
10 minute drive to nearest shop.
Short break with grandchildren Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 A lovely small camp site, clean, tidy and quiet site. Good facilities, toilets and showers cleaned on a regular basis and a good pitch price/ size.
Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Great campsite with facilities Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Sutton Hoo campsite is great to explore the east Suffolk coast as well as Sutton Hoo itself. Due to the weather, the campsite was very dusty, but only to be expected and the use of fire pits was withdrawn.
We had one night when the toilets were blocked, but this was resolved by the morning and the heat was causing intermittent power cuts. This campsite is always clean and facilities are very good. It is relatively small so the facilities match the number of people staying.
It is dog friendly and has a dog walking area, it's proximity to Sutton Hoo meant that this year, we went to the open air theatre and that was brilliant too.
Highly recommend this site.
Lovely relaxed site Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 The site was one of the best we have been to, lovely and quiet and relaxed. Will definitely return. Thank you
Lovely Site, Large Pitches & Friendly Staff Recommends site
Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 First time on this lovely little site. The pitches are a good size and ours had 16a electricity, water and grey water disposal. The toilet block was clean, tidy, and with plenty of hot water from the push button showers. I had a nice chat with the owner early in the morning whilst he was attending to the ablutions. Nice that you get given the time of day, so yes, we will definitely return again.
Nice little camp site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 We stayed for two nights in this lovely little site, lots to see and do near by. Good pub with great food within walking distance .
A lovely quiet site Recommends site
Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 The site is in a lovely location a short walk from the Sutton Hoo National Trust centre and close to some lovely villages. The plot was very generous size and the shower block was very good for such a small site. It was a very relaxing few days.
short stay Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 easy site to find and very conveniently located right next to the national trust site. dog walks around as well as a nearby beach. the set up at the site is really well thought out and handy when you book a non electric site.
Nice little park Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 This was a nice little site and easy to get to.
Showers and toilets were clean. Only downside was we were given a pitch in the middle of the field, whereas everyone else had pitches surrounded by hedges. Felt we didn't have a lot of privacy as the area wasn't marked out.
Lovely Stay at Sutton Hoo Recommends site
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Lovely campsite, good facilities and well situated. Would recommend
Excellent site to explore South Suffolk Recommends site
Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Ideally situated next to the Sutton Hoo visitor centre.
Lovely big pitches with hedges in between. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the road, but that was the only downside and totally out of the owners' hands.
The site was well kept, the facilities fairly basic but very clean. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it as a base from which to explore the region.
Great location, spacious pitches Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Convenient site for lots of places of interest and we enjoyed our stay.
Pitches are big and private with hedging. Let down by very tired facilities which aren't up to the standards we've seen elsewhere. A squeegee for the shower floors would be useful instead of a dirty mop and bucket.
Cracking little site, got all you need! Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Lovely little site, easy to get to and very friendly. Our first stay at a non "Club" site for one night to break up the journey. Had all we needed, space, power and water. The bathrooms are a little tired, but they worked!
Lovely site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 This is a lovely small site, with no more than about twenty spaces, but the pitches are huge!
Helen was really friendly and helpful, and the other campers happy and sociable. There is a road right alongside, but it doesn't take long to ignore the noise, even in a tent.
A beautiful area and very convenient for Sutton Hoo. We recommend this site and hope you enjoy it too!
History all around at Sutton Hoo campsite Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2026 Lovely campsite on the doorstep of the National Trust Sutton Hoo site. We spent 2 nights there. Felt very welcome and good facilities. Some road noise but proximity to Sutton Hoo and nearby Woodbridge made up for it.
Nice small site Recommends site
Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2026 Clean small site. Pitches are large and hedges wrap around which provides privacy. Helen the owner was great. We had to leave early due to the heat but would recommend. Also received a follow up call to check everything was ok which was a lovely touch
Brilliant location ten minute walk to Sutton hoo Anglo saxon site. The campsite clean and tidy. Nice large plot. Toilets and showers Greatly lovely hot water and clean.10 out of 10 from me and the wife Recommends site
