Amazing

We stopped for just one night as new to trailer tent camping. It was fantastic. They were so accomodating when we had to add a car and daughter (we had planned to leave her at home!). Great facilities on a site small enough that you could use them without queuing. Very helpful to us given we were setting for the first time. Lovely to have Mobile food van and music for tge evening. Lovely surprise

A beautiful place for a beautiful family holiday

If you're an adventurous family looking for somewhere to explore north Wales, this is the site for you. Within 10 minutes of Snowdon, 5 minutes of the most beautiful lake, and 10 minutes to a beach, you'll be running out of time for the things to do. Upon arrival, we were booked in swiftly, showed our spot, and we're able to grab a fire pit and logs there and then. The site was unbelievably clean, well sign posted, with lots of space, but not massive that it felt too busy. The field we were on (non electric camping) was on a slant, which was a bit of a pain when we first arrived, but once we figure out the best way to set up the tent and cooking area, it wasn't a bother at all. The dog field was a gorgeous addition, meaning that the dog could run about in an enclosed space dedicated for him and it was mown in a lovely maze for walking round with the dog. The football field was a brilliant addition for my older kids too. The grass was impeccable, very well kept, with a surrounding hedge of beautiful trees and wildflowers full of birds! The facilities were lovely, toilets and showers in a clean block with baby changing facilities. The showers were toasty warm and the room stayed warm too. There was a dog shower which was an awesome addition, and the bins were clear and accessible at all times too. The whole site was incredibly family friendly, we didn't feel like the kids were too much at any point, and we also felt there was a general sense of mutual respect between everyone to give space and keep the noise to a minimum once later in the evening. We spent our days climbing Snowdon, paddle boarding on the lake (where there is kit to hire if you don't have your own), and exploring the surrounding areas. Whilst the town itself was very small, there is a small shop in walkable distance, and then a larger Morrisons and other options within a 10 min drive. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted so will absolutely be returning to this site.

N Wales stay

Great site in a top location for a tour of north Wales, the peaks and lakes. Really friendly and well kept site.

Lovely site

Lovely site. We camped in the tent field. Well maintained. Toilet and shower blocks were modern and clean. Very conveniently located a short drive from snowdonia and the big zip world zipline.

Beautiful site

The couple running this campsite are lovely. I stayed here with my boyfriend, my friend and her fiance. Upon arrival, my friend asked for our pitches to be next to each other. We really appreciated Daniel arranging this for us! It started our stay off on a high. The tent pitches are massive. We took a car and a two man tent - and still had loads of space! This is perfect for families with big tents and gazebo's. The reception area has been well decorated by Sophie, it is super cosy and created a good first impression of the site. There is a little shop corner in the reception, selling camping necessities. The campsite itself is well looked after (mowed grass, beautiful flowers) and arranged in neat sections with names such as 'Orchard Bloom' which is really sweet. The toilets were mostly clean. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring Snowdonia - we were all genuinely so happy with this spot. Caernarfon, Llanberis, supermarkets & restaurants are all a short drive away. The beach is only 15mins away too! The cows grazing on a hill next to the tent field were a gorgeous sight in the evenings. There is a number on the reception door that you can call when the reception is closed. This was great after a long day of hiking, we were able to come back to the campsite at around 8pm and give the number a call, as we wanted to hire a firepit on our last night. Sophie and Daniel were really friendly, they helped out straight away - we really appreciated that because being able to hire the fire pit last minute made our last night extra special :) Overall, a wonderfully run campsite with beautiful views!!

Great first experience

Very good location and beautiful site! The host was really flexible, he allowed us to move next to our friends, we very much appreciate this. Bathrooms/showers needed some actions - they were clean in the mornings and after lunch but it would require more frequent cleaning. There was a bucket of water which people can use but it was mainly dirty. Toilet rolls were always stocked, so that was really good. If questions, the host would answer the phone quickly, so thank you so much for this.

Fabulous

I can't give more than 5 stars otherwise I would absolutely amazing place and facilities were stunning very clean and quiet place, too close to the mountains and Snowdonia other lovely places surrounding 🤩 Great value of money we have spent 4 nights on electric pitch 👌🏻definitely visit again :)

Beautiful campsite

Where to start. On arrival, check in was quick and easy which is always a great start after a long journey. The campsite was beautifully kept and lovely and quiet. Perfect for families. The facilities were clean and showers were lovely and warm with good water pressure. Staff were more than accommodating (even when one of my children flooded the shower room 🤦‍♀️) On the second night, they held a respectful gathering with food/drinks/music. Unfortunately, we didn't participate due to a busy day catching up on us - but it was lovely to see the other guests all gathering enjoying a sunny evening. The location was peaceful with local shops/chippy/pub a short walk away. The only very minor thing I think would have made this stay even better, would be toilets closer to the non-electric pitches for in the middle of the night. We did notice a small building at the top of the field which would have been perfect for this. This being said, the main toilets were a short walk from our pitch which was well lit at night. Would definitely recommend and most likely return to this lovely campsite which made our first family camping trip a great experience. Thank you to all staff

Fabulous Site

Our first visit to this lovely, quiet, dog-friendly site and we'll definitely return! It is situated close to Caernarfon so was a great base to travel from and come back to for precious family time. Dan, Sophie and their family, couldn't have been more helpful; delivering kindling & logs for our campfire, sharing advice and information and making themselves available whenever needed. The shower and toilet block is regularly cleaned and the whole site is beautifully kept, with regular grass cuts to keep it accessible and looking good. It also has good washing up facilities, a washing machine and tumble dryer and well-organised recycling facilities. Our all-adult family group had a wonderful, relaxing time, with trips out during the day, taking it in turns to cook in the evening and rounding off each day sitting round a fire pit (available to hire), chatting about the day, toasting marshmallows. In our camping field, there was space for the 'kids' to play boules, badminton and throw a rugby ball around. There is also The Green; a communal space where events are sometimes held. Thank you, Dan and Sophie, for making it such a wonderful holiday. We'll be back 😊

Wonderful site

Very clean site. Bathroom block immaculate any time of day. Elsan point and bins all kept clean and tidy. Very helpful and friendly. Short drive to angelsey. Shop and chip shop very close. Nice enclosed area for dogs and one for kids ball games. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Highly recommended

Great location for visiting Llanberis and Caernarfon. Easy to find by car - Sherpa bus available for local travel (timetable can be downloaded). Lovely quiet site, well spaced out. Owners friendly, approachable, and available when needed.

Family glamping trip

The most beautiful location and such a stunning site. It had everything we needed and was so close to beautiful country walks. Owners were lovely and were always working to keep the site looking perfect along with their children. Will definitely be back!

Great service and well looked after pitches

A lovely site that is really well looked after. The family that run the site are really friendly and very helpful. The only couple of negatives are, the field we camped on has a really big slope on it, so we had to move our cars off the field to stop the cars getting stuck. The showers in women's are really hot but the four times we used the men's, it was just warm enough. The floors in the showers get really wet and there isn't really enough space to get dry and changed in them. I would say the site is best suited for couples as there isn't really anything for kids to do there, as there is no playground and only one small field with some small goal posts in it. The owners are constantly cleaning the site and toilet block so the place is really clean.

Amazing site

Stayed here for 6 nights. Very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and took us personally to our pitch. Very helpful with any queries you may have. Facilities are modern and clean and well maintained. Lovely surroundings. Location is easy access to visit most areas.

Very clean site, toilets etc were spotless! In a great location in middle of a lot of attractions. Big pitches. No noise from neighbours. It'll obviously depend on people around you but site rules should make sure no one does anything obnoxious.

2 night trip to Snowdon

Ideal base if you're looking to walk Snowdon. Site is really well kept, toilet/shower facilities are immaculate and appeared to be cleaned regularly. The pitch was ideal, really flat and the electric charged at £3 per night. Ideal location for Snowdon's Llanberis trail 10mins away and car parking available close to the start of the trail.

Brill

2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We all loved it. Really nice nice great facilities. Beach 15 mins drive away with free parking....cafe shops toilets etc. Cocktail and burger vans came to camp site, food and drink was amazing.
