Excellent we had a good relaxing holiday

Excellent site

This is one of the best sites I have stayed, and certainly the biggest plots. We have a large tent with extension which we sometimes struggle to find sites to accommodate or we have to book well in advance, however it was lost in the plot leaving plenty of room for the car and still room to play in your own plot, each plot separated by a strip of longer cut grass which defines your space perfectly. Each plot has its own log fire pit, logs available to buy on site at a reasonable price, some plots even have park benches, which I am sure get moved around. The toilet facilities are well kept, with additional hand wash soap, that same goes for the washing up area which has washing bowls and washing up liquid at each station which doesn't seem to get stolen, shows what a little trust can do. Nice touch. The showers are amazing, full height rain head with full body shower jets, each in it's own room with lots of space, both, toilet and shower block are clean and tidy at all times. The on site Restaurant serves amazing food and the staff are friendly and polite, the only complaint is our booking coincided with two closed days which was a shame as we would have definitely dined there more, worth checking if you can be flexible with your booking. The site is located a reasonable walk and centrally to a short drive to stunning sandy beaches in each direction. Overall, great site with a mix of different types of travellers, most of which seem to be regular visitors. The owners of this site have got the balance just right. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay!

We stayed at Tregroes Caravan, Camping & Glamping Park as a big family group and honestly had the best time. The site had everything we needed (and more!) to make our stay fun, relaxing, and stress-free. The pitches were spacious, well-kept, and perfect for group setups—we had room to spread out but still felt close enough to enjoy each other's company. The toilets and showers were spotless, with plenty of hot water, which really makes a difference when you've got a big group of kids and adults. We especially appreciated the picnic benches. Left with so many lovely memories and are already talking about coming back next year. A big thank you to the team at Tregroes for helping make our family gathering so special!

Lovely site

Lovely site convenient to either walk or cycle to Fishguard. Best showers I've ever used on a campsite ever!

A few days away

Couldn't actually go because of a family matter but the site were kind to let us have a three day credit for the near future.

A few days away

Had a three night stay here. Nice size pitch. Toilets and showers were clean. A little bit out of the way but not too bad. 40 minute walk to nearby beach and town. Not many showers and toilets, 3 or 4, for so many pitches but to be fair, I didn't have to wait at all so maybe other sites have too many.

Lovely stay

Shower facilities are amazing. Pitch was lovely. The only issue there was no pressure on the tap for water on the pitch 😞 Pitch 2. All pitches at the bottom had the same problem. Other than that, fab.

Great site

Great site, toilets and showers clean. On site restaurant good quality home cooked food, not fast food, but worth the wait. Best to book especially for Sunday lunch.

Clean, quiet and safe

Love this site. Very clean facilities and quiet. As a solo woman camper safety is a priority and this site I would certainly recommend to others. A short drive to Fishguard and the beaches of Goodwick and easy driving to St David's, Aberteifi and everything in-between. A great base If you want to see the blue lagoon of Abereiddy. I will certainly be visiting again.

Lovely well maintained site and easy to find. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was delicious. Enjoyed Saturday night with a meal and good entertainment, lovely atmosphere too. Restaurant was dog friendly. We will return.

Great campsite

We booked for a last minute weekend break for my brother and sisters birthday. Campsite was easy to find, walking distance to Fishguard town. Campsite was really well maintained, bar was lovely with a good selection of drinks. The showers are the best showers around with great water pressure and hot! Toilets were clean - and the friendly farm cat was a bonus! Lovely morning cuddles 😊 Information leaflet was really helpful and the fire pit was great. We had a great time and have recommended it to several friends.

6 night stay

The facilities were spot on. We unfortunately weren't blessed with the weather. Nothing that the site could change. Showers were functional and clean and we never had any issues with them running out of hot water, even though the site was busy. We left a day early (our choice) due to the weather only.

Weekend stay

Site was clean and tidy, pitch sizes were very generous. Lovely peaceful area to chill and relax. Thought having no one to greet you on arrival let it down with no personal touch. Facilities very clean, toilets and showers well looked after. Showers lovely and hot.

We are delighted that you enjoyed a peaceful stay at Tregroes. We are a relatively small site and our customers have indicated that they appreciate that they can check in anytime between 2pm and 11.30pm (from the late ferry). For this reason, we have chosen to adopt the current check-in procedure. That said, we live alongside the site and are contactable at all times, ourselves and are team are working around the site everyday and are working in the onsite restaurant which is open 5 days a week.

Amazing

Absolutely an amazing place to stay, lovely small family-run campsite. The booking procedure was easy, and checking in was great, our booking details were ready waiting for us on the reception notice board, our pitch was an end pitch, the area was clean and had a bench and fire pit, although the pitch had a little bit of a slope it was all good. The site is close to many beautiful places so easy to explore. I would definitely recommend this place, even just to see the alpacas.

Great stay

Would recommend, lovely stay. Can walk to Fishguard in 20-25 minutes, or a 5 minute drive. 2 free car parks by the ferry terminal with a lovely view. We were in a motorhome and no issues. 20 minute drive to Newport. Decent car park and had the motorhome and no issues, £6 for 24 hours. Great onsite pub, we met various other very friendly campers and had a lovely evening there. Great showers, nice bathroom, kept clean. Dog friendly. Really recommend Mannings in Fishguard for coffee and lunch. Super friendly and great food and coffee with cute local food and drink (alcohol and jam etc).

Great little place

Absolute gem of a place. Location is superb, electric hook up and water tap right by camper. Pitches are very generous and in excellent condition. Very clean facilities, restaurant and bar onsite although didn't try them. Only stayed the one night but would have happily spent more time there. I think this is my go-to campsite before the ferry to Ireland from now on. Very reasonable prices.

Clean and convenient

Nice clean campsite located to places we wanted to visit. When we arrived, there was no one there with instructions and I had not received any information on how to check in. Another guest came up and informed up as they also had the same issue. It's a shame no one is around as nice to find out about the local area and questions you may have. We stayed in a tent and found the main road noise quite loud and also noise from a party in the town with the wind blowing it, may be fine in a caravan but personally was too noisy to sleep well. Not the campsite's fault of course. The campsite is very clean and was up area and bins tidy. Good space for the tent to be pitched, purchased some logs some were damp, but no more left to take from. Used the little restaurant there once, ladies very friendly.

We do not restrict when customers can check in but this means we cannot man the reception at all times. We therefore pin check-in paperwork in the reception porch. The paperwork provides pitch number and details of the site. Customers are encouraged to call if they need assistance. 5 days of the week the restaurant is open. The restaurant is also under the same ownership and the owners and staff are always delighted to talk about the area, walking, where to eat and visit. There was a marquee wedding on a local farm, which created a distant sound of music but this is not a usual occurrence.

Lovely! Very quiet, clean and tidy and some of the best showers I have ever used on a campsite. Must come back when the restaurant is open.

Fantastic outdoor exploration campsite

Our stay at this fantastic outdoor exploration camping site near Fishguard was nothing short of amazing. Located conveniently close to the stunning Poppit Beach, the campsite offers easy access to sandy shores perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. We also had the chance to visit the mesmerizing Ffynone Waterfall and the breathtaking Blue Lagoon, both of which provided unforgettable views both for kids and adults. We also enjoyed spending time at the campsite for resting, unwinding, eating, cooking and making BBQ using the nicely designed firepit. Logs were also available at reasonable price in-case you run out of charcoal. There are many places just in Fishguard which require at least a week to cover especially if you love the scenic views and the historic nature of the town. The campsite itself is well-maintained with clean facilities and spacious pitches, making it a comfortable base for all our adventures. Despite our four-night stay, there were numerous other attractions and natural wonders in the area that we didn't get to explore, leaving us eager to return. This site is an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts and families looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors while enjoying a variety of activities and picturesque locales. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable camping experience near Fishguard.
