VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 Toilet and shower block a bit of a distance which is the only fault. We were aware before booking and so it was expected.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 Lovely location next to the beach ..small touring field was perfect ..the toilet shower facilities were a 5 minute walk.I had read the reviews but that didn’t worry me I was also made aware before we arrived following a lovely courtesy call .. there is a lovely open field and playground ..for the kiddies and the dog .. a large pub restaurant a little shop and cafe.. lovely time will be returning

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2026 Admittedly our very first time in a campervan (borrowed) but the location and facilities were fantastic. We had our dog with us, but holiday park seemed built to accommodate dogs, including a dedicated dog wash area and shower. The clubhouse was friendly and the entire site was extremely well maintained and clean. We didn't use the shower block/toilets as they were a shot hike, and our van's shower was more than fine. The stand had electricity and water which we made constant use of. The beach is truly special and long walks are a must.

Toilet block was a bit of a walk but this was explained to us prior to arrival (clubhouse toilet nearer when open)

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2026 Great campsite in an amazing location. Very short walk to the beach, very clean campground and well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Extremely dog friendly site and much appreciated the dog shower. Only small downside was the very outdated shower and toilet block, as well as very basic outdoor dishwashing area.
The location of the facilities isn't ideal, as it is a bit of a walk (which we knew beforehand and were prepared for). The walk is manageable, as you can use the nearby clubhouse/restaurant toilets during opening hours. So we were really only using the facilities for a shower once a day.
Whilst you can see that the showers are regularly cleaned, they are old, with mould in the corners and with no option to change the temperature of the water. One of the three showers in the female area didn't drain.
If the shower block was modernised (or even better, a new one was built closer to the touring field rather than in the middle of the static caravans), this site would be five out of five.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Mar 2026 I would come again for a weekend escape. The overall experience was nice, but shower block needs updating, would be great to have a porta-cabin showers near Eleanor point for tourers. Staff all very helpful.
Lovely placed site, right next to the beach. Reasonably priced for what is there. The shower block is a 5 min walk and the building is a little tired, dated and cold, but water pressure and temp ok. Lovely club house, the food is ok, needed more bins.

The only thing that was not good was the quality of food at the club house. I found also the price of the food was a little high...drinks price is about right.
Club house clean and tidy, staff polite and friendly.
No rules Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2025 No rules! People letting their dogs run loose, people with more than 2 dogs, dog mess all around.
Club not serving breakfast or dinner, excuse being all kids back at school, so quiet which is not what it says on the listing, then a lot on listing is incorrect. I've waited over 3 hours for a call from a manager and still nothing!
Basic Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2025 The site was kept clean and tidy, very peaceful, location next to the sea front.
Liked - well drained level pitches, water and electric hook-ups. Good dog wash shower with hot and cold water. Good on site pub, with good grub.
Dislike - toilet and shower facilities are remote from the touring field, limited and dated. Why are they so far into the static park, as they are self contained?
Lack of dedicated grey water disposal, having to lift a tank of water up to the chemical disposal is not ideal H&S, especially for an older person or someone with back issues.

Disappointed by the cleanliness of toilets as it had no soap in any dispenser until following day, and toilets were just filled with liquid and not even been cleaned or brushed. I wouldn't want to know when floors were last washed. Such a shame as such a lovely site and location

Beach 10 second from our motorhome. Lovely bar/restaurant on site plus another cafe and a shop. Really good value for an electric hardstanding pitch.
If I was pushed, my only criticism would be the shower/toilet block is a bit too far from the motorhomes/touring vans. About a 3/4 minute walk. Otherwise perfect!
