Wet and windy Easter break

Well-maintained, friendly site. Facilities were all spotless, despite the boggy mud outside - the whole New Forest was marshland!
Lots of level, shady pitches that feel like wild camping, which is lovely. Lost one star for location as the unavoidable noise from the road might bother some - it didn't worry us though and unless you're unlucky, you can probably find a quiet spot on the further edge of the site.
Beautiful walks/bike rides from the site itself without needing to drive anywhere. And the bakery in Brockenhurst is outstanding as a reward for your walk!
Staff are super friendly and always very visible and available around the site for advice - although not the cheapest, this site is not bad value at all for such a central New Forest site. Recommended!

We stayed here for the night in our motorhome. Even though the weather was terrible and we got stuck in the mud, the staff were absolutely brilliant. We got pulled out, no worries at all.
They were so friendly and so helpful we will be back and hopefully the weather will be on our side
