About the site

Set overlooking Fraserburgh's sandy beach, this coastal touring park is an ideal base for families, couples and anyone wanting to escape the everyday buzz. With sea views, you can watch surfers riding the waves and even spot seals along the shoreline from the comfort of your pitch. There are 18 fully serviced grass pitches with electric hook ups for touring caravans and motorhomes, along with a spacious non electric grass camping area and a few pitches with hook ups. For those who want to leave the tent or tourer at home, there are two ensuite glamping cabins, each sleeping up to four guests with a private shower room, equipped kitchenette, and outdoor seating overlooking the sea. Within a ten minute walk, you'll find Fraserburgh Harbour, the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and a leisure centre with swimming pools, bowling, tennis and more. Peterhead is 30 minutes away for days of sightseeing. Dogs are allowed, and one of the cabins is dog-friendly, allowing up to two. BBQs are welcome, provided they are raised off the ground.

There's plenty to see and do nearby, whether you're after a relaxing seaside stroll or an active day out. The beach is ideal for surfing, windsurfing and other watersports, while a children's play park sits alongside the esplanade.

Sports enthusiasts can make use of the leisure centre, a ten minute walk away, with a swimming pool, ten-pin bowling, a bar and regular entertainment, as well as an all-weather football pitch and running and cycling track. Fraserburgh Golf Club is a five minute drive away, and anglers can enjoy fishing at nearby Philorth.

This site is also within easy reach of some of the area's top attractions, including the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, Fraserburgh Heritage Centre and Peterhead Prison Museum, which is a 30 minute drive away.

Walkers and cyclists can explore the scenic Buchan and Formartine Way, with cycle hire available nearby. Keep an eye on the coastline too - it's not uncommon to spot seals, gannets and even porpoise from your pitch!
