About the site


A family friendly pop up site just ten minutes from Kidwelly and 20 minutes from the historic market town of Carmarthen. Ideal for those wanting to unwind in nature, it offers a peaceful wild camping experience surrounded by far-reaching moorland views, great for sunsets too. This is also a CACC site. Onsite, there are spacious 7m x 7m non electric grass pitches that cater for tents, trailer tents, roof tops, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Please note that there are no shower facilities onsite, so please bring your own. The coast is only five minutes away at Ferryside, with its sandy beach, while Llanelli (30 minutes) offers its own beach and plenty of attractions. For outdoor lovers, the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog) is 45 minutes away with rugged mountains, moors, and breathtaking waterfalls to explore. Up to two dogs are welcome onsite. Please ensure they are kept on their leads. Fire pits and BBQs are also allowed, provided they are raised off the ground and supervised by an adult.

Please note that there are no shower facilities onsite, so please bring your own. Guests will have access to a chemical disposal unit, a portable compost toilet, and a washing-up area.

For a tasty cooked meal, the White Lion is a five minute drive away, or head ten minutes to Kidwelly, where you will find The Mason's Arms, The Old Moathouse, and The Fishermans Arms. Cks Supermarket Ltd is your nearest convenience store, a five minute drive away.

*Please check-in between 2pm-9pm. Check out is by 12:30pm on your last day.

*Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

*Dogs listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

*Quiet hours are between 11pm-8am.

*BBQs and fire pits are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground and supervised by an adult.

*Open fires are not allowed.

*Visitors must leave the premises by 10pm.


Things to do on site and in the Kidwelly area

Beach days are just five minutes away at Ferryside Beach, with further sandy spots including Llanelli Beach (30 minutes) and Saundersfoot Beach (45 minutes). Carmarthen, one of the oldest towns in Wales, is 20 minutes away on the River Towy, home to Carmarthen Castle, Gwili Steam Railway, and Carmarthenshire Museum.

Kidwelly is just ten minutes away with its iconic castle, while history lovers can also explore Castell Dryslwyn and Laugharne Castle (Castell Talacharn), both 30 minutes from the site, or the impressive Carreg Cennen Castle in 50 minutes.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is 25 minutes away, where you can enjoy lakes, woodlands, and sweeping views of the Welsh hills. Finally, hikers and adventurers are just 45 minutes from Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog), offering scenic trails, moorlands, and picturesque peaks.
