Excellent Site

My wife and I stayed here for a short getaway at the beginning of August. This was our first visit to Croft. We were met by John and shown to our pitch on the edge of the site. John then gave us a tour of the site in a golf buggy. The facilities are great and the site well laid out. We were close to a shower and toilet block, which were clean with very hot water. Everyone we met seemed to have been visiting the site for years. They were all friendly. Our "neighbours" were also first time visitors and we had a great time with them. There were 2 birthdays when we were there and entertainment was on during the afternoon and the evening. Both of which were excellent. The outdoors is obviously cold but you soon get used to it. The indoor pool was very warm. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely visit again.

First stay

We really enjoyed our stay. JJ was very welcoming and brilliant showing us around. We found fellow campers to be very friendly. A very relaxing environment. We will definitely be booking another holiday there.

We stayed for a few nights and had a wonderful time everything was perfect.

long weekend stay

We were made to feel very welcome on a site which had many caravans belonging to members of The Club. The showers were very hot & the temperature could not be regulated.

Fantastic peaceful campsite.

What a great place. The staff and all of the guests were so friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. All the facilities were spotless and a lot of thought has been made to make your stay very comfortable. It is also a great base for exploring the area. You could never get bored! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful campsite

Amazing site with lots of trees, small wild animals hopping around and birds chirping. Enjoyed 2 weeks there usually sunbathing and exploring local area by a car. The site has a garden with fruit trees and I enjoyed eating cherries and berries since those were edible at the time of stay.

Brilliant weekend

Lovely, quiet, well kept site. JJ really welcoming, as were the other visitors. Pool good. Jacuzzi great to relax in. Disco was good, with good music. Would recommend this site to people who want to try out this lifestyle as everyone is so friendly. Will be back.

Outstanding place

Although only an end of season brief stay, I was met by JJ at the gate, was directed to a superb pitch in between the club house and pools, and the shower block. Given a tour of the site which was bigger than I expected. The toilets and showers were spotless, ample facilities and you could even dry your towels for a couple of quid! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I look forward to visiting again in the spring. 5 star stay!

Fantastic site

What a lovely place to stay! The facilities are clean, tidy, well maintained and more than adequate. The grass is of excellent quality so pitching on grass isn't an issue. JJ is very welcoming and takes the time to show new visitors round the site. The site is a mix of visitors and club members, who take the time and trouble to be friendly. The ambience of the site is delightful and I was very sorry to leave. However, I shall surely return next season!

Friendly naturist club campsite

Our 1st visit to this club site. Blessed with very warm weather, we enjoyed a relaxed carefree weekend sunning ourselves & dipping into the pools & hot tub. The indoor pool was a balmy 34°c whilst the outdoor pool was solar heated but great for cooling off in the heat. Facilities are slightly dated but perfectly acceptable and very clean. Staff members are friendly & welcoming. Entertainment was of a high standard. Choice of pitches meant you can opt to socialise with residential campers, or choose a quieter spot on the perimeter of the site. Would happily return for a few days. The all inclusive cost of £32.50 night was reasonable compared to other sites, which included EHU. Great place for first time naturists to try out. Where nude feels normal. Communal unisex showers are a bit small but rarely shared with anyone else anyway. Try it out!

First timers to naturism

Everybody was very friendly on the site. As first timers, we were not sure what to expect, but had a fantastic weekend and made to feel very welcome. No pressure to get naked, lol. Well kept site throughout, toilets/shower block was spotless and beautiful landscaped gardens throughout. Used the indoor pool and the jacuzzi, included in price of pitch, and the only extra was to use the sauna. Thanks to JJ and his team, hope to see you all again soon.

Croft for us (again)

Not our first time and certainly not our last. It's a fair way for us, but worth it as the staff are great, the facilities excellent and apart from the chemical loo disposal point which could do with an upgrade, the site is beautifully kept.
