Great value, stunning scenery and walks right from the site, not too far to walk to a pub/cafe, not super strict with rules like some campsites I’ve been to, pick your own pitch, food trucks on site. What more could you ask for

Loved the chilled out vibe of this campsite. We booked a last minute grass site, no electric. When we arrived, the friendly person at reception said to just pick a spot. We found a great corner, amazing view, with great neighbours. Lost the child to den making almost immediately. Pizza van was good facilities were new , and clean. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with hot showers, clean toilets, and a convenient washing-up area.

Fantastic place, great facilities. Always found clean throughout the weekend. Superb location for walks and plenty of options of places to camp on site. Couple of things to mention. The facilities were under a lot of pressure due to it being an exceptionally busy bank holiday weekend causing water pressure issues affecting the showers, etc, but nothing major. The camp shop was only very, very basic with no other shop nearby, perhaps room for improvement there but all in all, due to the extreme amount of people, it still coped well and I for one will be returning another weekend soon.

Our first time staying at the site, we have been to a fair few in the peaks, and it is probably our new favourite. kids loved the rope swings and paths through the wooded areas, the location was excellent with a 10 min drive to bakewell and good walks through lathkill dale which is right next door, the toilets and shower blocks were brand new, clean and well tended to, views were great, and the owners were lovely and friendly. We will be returning!

This is a must do site. EVerything about it is amazing, from being greeted by Ed at reception to the large expanse of fields available to pitch in. The facilities are new, quite literally spotless and convenient. To cap it all, the location, on the edge of Lathkill Dale, is staggeringly beautiful. We shall return. Thank you. Dave and Dawn

Had an absolutely great time for our first camp of the year. The views are beautiful. The campsite is lovely and clean with really nice helpful owners. My little one was able to watch the cows being milked and say hello to the lovely horses in their shed. A handy little shop on site too which sells a mixture of things. We took a walk down to Lathkill Dale to see the waterfalls which was beautiful too and right on your doorstep. Would happily recommend this site and will definitely return.

The views are beautiful. The site is well kept and facilities are way more than what you need for camping, especially the newly built rest rooms. The only minor inconvenience were just people deciding not to flush a toilet, but that's not the campsite management's fault at all. Everywhere else was frequently cleaned. Everyone here is nice, even a convenient camp shop for firewood etc. The people around are just naturally nice, which really lifts the mood but overall, we all loved it. The site is amazing, people are polite and the places you can visit are just a scenic walk away Would highly highly recommend.

Gorgeous views & sunset, the owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to. We hired a firepit and logs which we found handy. We had 4 fields to choose from, all were very big and spacious. The field we stopped in was one right at the end with the views, we found that it was a lot less windy on that field compared to the others, maybe something to keep in mind if you go on a windy weekend. The toilet block we used was clean enough and had toilet paper stocked up. We didn't use the ones near the reception area so can't comment. Overall, would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Amazing campsite and friendly helpful staff. Perfect location near to loads of things to do. Site was lovely loads of choices for pitching. The new shower blocks are in but weren't open for this visit - I think they will be the icing on the cake though. Can't recommend this site enough, thanks for a lovely first visit to the Peak District - definitely won't be our last!

Basic, but just what was needed for our stay. The toilets were very clean and tidy, especially for a wet weekend. When we arrived, we were able to add on extras, we didn't pre book incase of weather , we got an extra deal with paying in cash. We were able to choose our own plot within the 4 fields on offer. I highly recommend and will return.

This campsite is fantastic, the facilities are great and there was a breakfast van in the morning as well as a little pizza "tent" in the afternoon, which tempted us out of cooking! The views and location are amazing, close to some amazing hikes. Close to Bakewell itself, so going for a pub lunch was an easy drive.
Very good campsite

It's been a few years since I have been camping and if this site is anything to go by, standards have skyrocketed. The facilities were immaculate, the food and drinks sold on site were great. The views were stunning and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was my son's first camping trip and he had the time of his life. My dad, who camps a lot and joined us said it was one of the best sites he'd been to also. Highly recommended.
