Haddon Grove Farm Campsite is set on a working dairy farm in the scenic Peak District National Park, just five minutes outside of Bakewell. The site is home to non electric grass and hardstanding pitches, with a separate family field offering play areas and rope swings. Sample local ice cream at the onsite shop, with fire pits for hire too. Chatsworth House, Matlock and Buxton are also within a 20 minute drive!

This is a big site over 4 fields, was lively. In a great location with some fantastic views. Pitches not marked out so people did camp a little close and noisy to the early hours. Overall, a great campsite, you just need to stick you elbows out when setting up your pitch 😂
Lovely quiet campsite, facilities adequate

We stayed here for 1 night with our dogs, it was a last minute booking and definitely value for money. When we arrived the reception wasn't open but we rang the owner (Amy), who was very helpful. You can camp wherever you like in any of their fields, we chose a lovely spot that had amazing views. The toilet block on the lower camping field was good to have as main block is a slight walk away. We both wished we could have stayed an extra night or two, will definitely recommend and come back again. Perfect spot to visit Bakewell town! Absolutely loved it.

Excellent site, surprisingly quiet in the evening.my birthday weekend was awesome. Not badly priced. Bins needed emptying but that is a minor niggle. We were self sufficient so cannot speak for facilities. Good walk from the site along the river to Youlgreave where we had a nice drink.
Good views and location but lacking facilities

Good location and beautiful views of a working farm. Had plenty of space to pitch with 5 fields to choose from. However, only one shower block (3 showers) and 2 toilet blocks (8 toilets total) was not enough for the volume of guests as had to queue, and flushes stopped working and were dirty. Showers were good and powerful and warm. Washing up station good but water pressure bad. Shop/reception didn't open in the mornings, which wasn't useful as I feel it could profit well from having milk/breakfast stuff so we were stuck until we could leave the site. Good site for caravans but not the best for tents.
Lovely campsite!

Lovely campsite, close to lots of towns and places to visit. I stayed with my 9 year old child and felt very safe as a solo woman traveller. It's very family friendly, but without being a big commercial campsite. Nice welcome from the reception upon arrival. Lots of nice walks nearby and incredible scenery. I pitched in the furthest field so we could enjoy the beautiful views from our tent. I also really liked that you're able to choose where you pitch rather than being pre chosen. My only feedback would be that it could benefit from a warden to go round and tell people to be quiet after 11pm (most people were quiet after the cut off but we were unfortunately next to quite a loud group on the first night). It also wouldn't hurt if there were a few more toilets for the size of the campsite as there were often queues! Other than that though, I thought it was a brilliant campsite and would definitely stay again!
Decent site for visiting the Peaks

Good site, bit hit and miss as to where tents versus vans/caravans park which I think should be slightly clearer. Amazing location for visiting other places like Bakewell and Chatsworth. Owners and their family were very pleasant and always willing to help. Sorted out a potential problem with loud youths really quickly.
Brilliant campsite

We had a great weekend camping. The facilities were clean. We arrived on a Thursday and had loads of space to set up in. The children were kept occupied with tyre swings and playing in the trees. We did a lovely walk from the campsite, and it's also really close to Bakewell and other good places to visit.

Unfortunately we seem to have visited this site at the wrong time. Advertised as a family friendly campsite, this seems to have led to overcrowding, noise late into the evening and campers who took pleasure in damaging the trees around the site. Cannot recommend this site.

A surprisingly cheap and clean site on a working dairy farm. The toilet facilities were cleaned regularly and it was quiet at night time. Definitely going back.

Great place, annoying people shouting 'till 3am, but that's no fault of the campsite, just ignorant guests. Would recommend this place to anyone, beautiful views and has an onsite shop ran by the £2.50 guy, will be returning.

Lovely stay at Haddon Grove Farm, beautiful views and a lovely, quiet site. We are totally self sufficient, so didn't need to use any of the facilities, but the walks around the area and the ease of arranging our last minute nights stay were a plus. We will definitely use the site again, beautiful.

Friendly owners. Camp anywhere - lots of options. Great new toilet block. Showers disappointing. Main toilets blocked several times as water for flushing couldn't keep up with demand.

Great campsite with onsite toilets and showers. Also have a shop onsite which is useful. It is a 10 minute drive from Bakewell. Has some good walk routes nearby too.

We had a lovely weekend at Haddon Grove. Great hosts, easy check-in, and for a busy park, it felt quiet and spacious. Loved that we could choose where we pitched, and we had some amazing views over Lathkill Dale. It was also super close for walks to nearby villages for food and a pint. Walk up the dale to Monyash is particularly good, with it being not too far for little legs, and there's a park for the kids attached to a beer garden. The kids loved the rope swings in the grounds of the park and being able to rent a fire pit and grab logs on site was ideal! Only minor negative was that the toilet block seemed to run out of water as the evening drew on each day, but to be honest, not a massive deal, and they were kept clean throughout our stay. A lovely friendly site that we will happily visit again.
Nice, large site if you like it a little busier

Great, no nonsense, quite busy site (it was a pleasant weekend in June so not a surprise). Easy check in by lovely host who advised the correct field to pitch in if we wanted a slightly quieter stay. Toilets in the field were immaculate, and although there didn't seem to be enough toilets to serve the 4 fields of campers, I never had to queue. Relaxing short stay, we will be back.
