Amazing
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 We had an amazing time at Hill Farm. We went with the hope of seeing some animals and just having a nice time and it was so much better. My little boy had a wonderful time (thanks Alan - he appreciated the time you spent answering his questions and showing him the animals). We left wanting to go back and I’ve never felt like that before after time in a tent! Thanks Alan and Ruth - your pride in the site shines through.
Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2026 A lovely site with a huge amount of space, so you can be among others or secluded. Animals are a real hit with the children. The trailer ride was a brilliant addition and the owners cannot do enough for you. They are so lovely!
Although it's pricey for camping, it is worth a trip and a lovely stay!

The perfect first family camping trip!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2026 Having recently passed my driving test, one of my bucket list goals was to pack up the car and explore more of the UK. Our first family camping trip with our three year-old also happened to be my birthday weekend, so we wanted somewhere special.
Coming from London, we wanted somewhere close enough for an easy drive but far enough away to feel like we’d escaped the city. Hill Farm was perfect. After leaving the M11, you’re surrounded by country lanes and village thatched cottages, it’s hard to believe you’re only an hour from London.
We were warmly welcomed by Alan and Ruth (and two friendly alpacas!). Alan’s trailer tour was an instant hit with our son, who spent the rest of the weekend asking for more rides. Alan was so patient and kind.
The campsite was peaceful, spacious and clean. We never had to queue for the showers, toilets or washing up area, and the fridge was a great bonus. Our son loved the animals, play area, paddling pool, pond and sports equipment, so we barely needed to leave the campsite.
What really makes Hill Farm special is Alan and Ruth. They clearly take enormous pride in what they do and genuinely care that every family has a wonderful stay (really appreciated the cuppa!). Our little one made new friends, wonderful memories, and is already asking to go back. We can’t wait to return ❤️

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Absolutely wonderful views, and Ruth & Percy, the owners, could not be more helpful and welcoming, will defo be going back - shame about the football result but we could not have been in a more tranquil spot.

It is hard to describe the feeling of being in this beautiful, sprawling plot of land in beautiful countryside. It really is a slice of heaven. Kids and parents will love it.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2026 We had a great night camping here - it is such a lovely site, and is so well set up for families too. There are plenty of options of where to set up camp, and Alan and Ruth are very helpful and accommodating. We are already planning our return!

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 I stayed here with my 3 children, 15, 6 and 1. We all really enjoyed it. It was great for all ages. The animals were all amazing and so tame.
The toilets were very clean and we enjoyed the music in there! As did other campers who were singing along.
The hosts were friendly and fun. Nothing was too much trouble. It was clear to see how much they love kids and animals.
We've stayed at many places all over the UK and this place is everyone's new favourite. We will definitely be back.

Great family sites and great for groups of family or friends. Spacious pitches and activities dotted around for the children. Lots of great views from the hill or further down by the river.
We will definitely return. Slice of heaven.
Fantastic family friendly site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Fantastic little site nestled just outside a small country village.
The space available on site is brilliant with great welfare facilities and lots of space and activities for the children.
Alan and Ruth are brilliant and make a great stay. Be sure to ask Alan for a tour on the quad bike the children love the little ride round the site.
Small little pubs and a coop within 15 minute walk or few minutes drive.
Fantastic wee site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely little site which is a mix of nature reserve, animal sanctuary and campsite. Showers and toilet block with fully accessible shower, which is great to see. Alpacas and an emu roam around and there are facilities for children like swings, a zip line.
Amazing campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 What a wonderful find. Animals encounters on tap with emus and alpacas - all very friendly and roaming free.
Ruth and Alan were amazing and on hand for anything. The kids loved the trailer rides, grass surfing and all the play equipment. They had even set up a pool for the kids to play in in this heat. Very attentive and well equipped campsite. The children are all ready asking to go back!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Hill Farm is an amazing place to camp. They have so many activities for kids and Alan and Ruth did so much for us.
The site itself is wonderful and we had a great spot down the hill near the stream. We'll definitely be back for another stay.

Wonderful, attentive owners who made sure we had everything we needed and made sure our little one had the best time. She loved saying goodbye morning to the animals each day :)
Pretty walks, villages, pubs and farm shops all nearby. Will definitely be back!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We have just come home from an absolutely fantastic weekend at Hill Farm. Ruth and Alan were brilliant - Alan took the kids around the farm and my daughter loved choosing the willow branches for the wallabies!
