Hidden gem
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 Lovely campsite in a quiet corner of the New Forest. Great view of the sea and it’s interesting to watch the cargo and cruise ships in the distance. There’s a nice cafe and playground a short walk away. Campsite facilities are basic (compost loos) but clean and adequate. Love the fact you can have campfires.
Top tip: bring heavy duty tent pegs as the ground is quite stony.
Great relaxed campsite for family
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 We booked a short stay from looking at the reviews. Primarily drawn by its location near the beach and the Country Park, due to the age of our daughter, and the fact that it wasn't a long drive for us.
Good size campsite with good facilities, which were kept clean and checked regularly. Someone on site for queries and to buy drinks. Being able to buy breakfast on site was a bonus, as well as the yummy pizza. We enjoyed the easy beach and park access, as well as the café and the fact we could leave the car and explore and have fun. We also enjoyed being able to watch the ships, ferry and cruise ships travelling in and out of Southampton and the views of the Isle of White.
We would definitely return again.
Great for families
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 This park is great for families. Plenty of space to play and was quiet at night. The location is lovely. The beach is very close and the walking is good.

Lovely campsite
Ready Tent - Ready Tents Aug 2023 My two children and I stayed for 2 nights in one of the ready tents, very impressed with the tent, so spacious.
Campsite is lovely and in a lovely location next to the beach. The staff are very nice and helpful, my children loved the pizza cooked onsite. The quiet after 10:30 rule was obeyed and we all had good night's sleep.
This was our first stay in a ready tent and it's a game changer for us, lovely and stress free.
We did not want to leave and my children are already asking to go back, I will definitely be booking another stay here next year .
Lovely site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely site, really close to the beach. Overlooks the Solent and, depending on where you are, you can see the Isle of Wight. Very open site so can get a bit windy but facilities are good and the wood fire pizza that they cook fresh on site was tasty. It good that you are able to have open fires, and they hire the pits at a reasonable fee.
I would definitely recommend this site, and hope I get to go again in the not too distant future!
