Excellent campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Had a very enjoyable one night stay, people working there are so welcoming and helpful. Location is great and the shower block facilities excellent and very clean! Would stay again for sure!!

Spotless campsite and a peaceful stay
Large Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 We’ve just got home after a peaceful weekend at Bryndu Campsite. We had a warm welcome from the owners, and shown all of the facilities. The site was spotless. Surrounded by beautiful flowers, the sound of sheep in the field and cattle in the barn made us feel right at home with nature. The pitches were spacious with plenty of room between each one. We had tap water and electric right on our pitch which was convenient. The site has won many awards for the high standard of their facilities, and it was clear to see why. They were the best facilities we have ever seen on a campsite. The park was opposite our pitch which meant we could keep an eye on our 7 year old daughter whilst relaxing. The site has a little shop where they sell all the essentials like milk, eggs, cold drinks. They also had pastries available to buy. We have been camping for a few years and stayed at lots of different sites and this is by far our favourite so far. Can’t wait to book and stay again.

The place is gorgeous and extremely well kept. The lovely lady that runs the place (forgive me, I have forgotten her name now I'm home) clearly has a passion for gardening because the whole site was covered in gorgeous flowers!
I didn't have electric hook up but they were all conveniently placed and lots of picnic benches for tent pitches too. The shop had the essentials, including a coffee machine where I got my coffee fix in the morning. The toilets and showers were spotless and conveniently located with lovely hot water in the showers.
It's truly a dark sky camp too, it was my main thing I was looking for as we don't get many stars in the city but it didn't disappoint! I would highly recommend this site! I hope to be able to go back soon!
Fabulous
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Fabulous site. Welcome by the owner was great and she chose a pitch where we could keep the dog cool in this unseasonably hot weather.
The facilities are the best I've ever seen, beautifully clean and well kept. The only issue was that we couldn't have a cold shower (only hot water available) which 99% of the time in the UK, is not an issue 😁
We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful site
Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Beautiful site with lovely views of Welsh countryside. Facilities are excellent - showers were clean and hot water plentiful. Owners were really friendly and welcoming. On-site shop had all the essentials and some lovely extra things too. Highly recommend.
Amazing campsite
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Honestly would come back just for the service, the family who own it are amazing and friendly came out to check everything was okay once we'd set up. Had a good selection in the shop of milk and ready to have coffees and the cleanliness and the availability in the bathroom was absolutely amazing. I've never seen a campsite as clean or as calm as Bryndu.
Lovely campsite, fantastic stay
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Bryndu Caravan and Camping site.
From the minute we got there, the family who own the place were delightful. Showed us round the facilities and nothing was too much trouble. Great facilities too - lovely toilet and showers (although could do with more pressure and staying on a bit longer!), washing up facilities and a laundrette. We also had a great pitch with water and electric right next to the shop, park and toilets so no complaints here.
Fab location for checking out the local nature spots and also recommend a visit to Hay-On-Wye.
Our stay at Bryndu
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Lovely welcome when we arrived. Excellent large pitch with a great parking space too. All facilities were spotlessly clean and the space in the bathroom with mirrors and stools for hair and make up were fab. Site was quiet with everything you need. Will definitely return and would highly recommend to others.
Super caravan park
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 We had a fabulous time at Bryndu, quiet location, so clean & eco friendly!
We were welcomed by Mary, owner & David, maintenance person. Little shop has everything you need, local produce & goodies, souvenirs. We ate out twice at local pub & at The Gurka at The New Inn, delicious food and service.
Will definitely be revisiting.

Mary, the owner and David the warden were lovely to deal with and very welcoming and helpful.
Our first time camping!
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Me and my partner decided to do something different so we decided camping. We wanted electric and good showers and toilets, let me just say this campsite delivered! It was very easy to find the campsite and Mary was in the office ready to welcome us. If you’re looking for activities around the area we climbed Pen Y Fan and was a 20 min drive away and the 4 waterfalls walk was a 40 min drive away. We would 100% recommend this campsite!
