Not what we expected Medium Tent - Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 We booked 2 nights only stayed for 1.
They mention in there rules this is a quiet place and no noise is to be tolerated. Shame this is a lie.
We'd arrived and set up our tent, and then decided to take the dogs for a walk.
We arrived back at the camp site about 9:30pm. Lots of commotion heard people shouting, which seemed to be fuelled by too much alcohol.
We quietly got into our tent and settled down. About 10:30 - till gone midnight all we could hear was loud music people shouting, fires lit, guests getting louder and louder. We tried to call and text the numbers on the booking and still to this day, appeared to have been ignored.
Awoken at stupid o'clock, tent pulled down, bundled everything into the car and left, arrived home by 9am.
It felt like a waste of time and money.
Avoid unless you enjoy being awake half the night.

Quiet and peaceful site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 6m (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 We very much enjoyed our stay at the site. The site was clean and tidy. It was just a shame that some of the people staying on the site couldn't be bothered to clean up after themselves.
There was toilet tissue left on the floor of the ladies toilet and wash hand basins not cleaned after use, despite cleaning materials available for that purpose. Similarly, the sinks in the washing-up area were left unrinsed and food deposits in the plug hole.
I appreciate that these observations are outside the control of the site owners and that at other times they may not apply. We were just unlucky, I guess, to share the site with inconsiderate people. In all other respects the showers, toilets and washing-up area were perfectly acceptable and well maintained.
