This camping and touring site is set in a secluded location for exploring the Lake District's Western Fells and lakes. The site has basic and simple facilities for those wanting a traditional camping holiday. There are non electric grass pitches for tents or campervans, as well as grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up for tents, campers and touring caravans alike. Explore the nearby scenery, including the River Cocker and Lorton Valley. Campfires are not allowed, but firepits and BBQs are, as long as they're raised off the grass to avoid causing damage to the turf. Please ask for bricks. A maximum of three dogs is allowed per pitch, and there are a number of nearby trails for long dog walks.
