Lovely site, needs better facilities
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Beautiful site, gentleman running it was lovely, came and checked on everybody and facilities daily.
The facilities need updating, proper toilets need to be in place and showers need updating. Also the possibility of having Wi-Fi there due to lack of signal, and being a fair distance away from anything, especially with having children.
Other than the small things, The Camping Field is a beautiful place, so much space for kiddies to play and enjoy themselves. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a back to basics campsite. We are in SSSI area, which we are very lucky to get planning from March to the end of October.
Your family enjoyed the freedom, wildness and quietness of The Camping Field. Kids need to learn that there is life without Wi-Fi. There will be no upgrades.
We will keep this campsite as basic as can be. I enjoy walking down the field and seeing families having fires, talking and being sociable. That's proper camping.

Fabulous no frills site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Fabulous site with wonderful views (which we were surprised by when we woke up as when we arrived it was as very foggy).
Great location for walking as you are literally next to the Saint's Way route. Plenty of portaloos around the field and water and showers easily accessible. Plenty of space too.

Peaceful and clean
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 A very basic site but the facilities were clean and perfectly suited to my needs. Richard was a pleasant and welcoming host - would definitely return for the peace and quiet!

Great position for access to main tourist attractions
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Great position for access to all key tourist spots, although remote. Great value for money, but this is reflected in basic services although everything you need. Would come back.

Overnight stop close to Eden Project
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Farmer even drove us to our campsite at Eden Sessions and picked us up! Beautiful wild meadow type field - idyllic - thank you 🙏

Peaceful, clean and friendly
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We stayed the night as we were attending an Eden Session.
The Camping Field was perfect. It was simple in set up, but had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and accessible.
We were able to get taxis relatively easily for the approximate 10-minute journey each way.
The site was incredibly peaceful and surrounded by great views.
The host was friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely go back.

Such a lovely location, beautiful wild flowers bordering the spacious field.

Eden sessions which meant we could have a beer (or 2!)

A lovely spot in the middle of Cornwall
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 We went down to Cornwall for a gig at the Eden Project and had booked The Camping Field - turned out perfectly.
Lovely open field with plenty of space. We hadn't booked electric but mobile phones needed charging so we asked - no problemo. And the icing on the cake was that we were offered a lift over to Eden by the very friendly owner, so 15 minutes after arriving we were sitting on a haybale in the back of his van - he even came and picked us up at 11.30pm!
It's a basic, unpretentious site but the portaloos were clean, the showers were hot, and it's amazing value for money - what's not to like?
And it's only half an hour over to the north coast, where we were going the following morning. We'll be back!
