Clear filters Clean & quiet campsite in a great location
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 We struggled to find a campsite within walking distance of a village but this was perfect. The Crown pub, Henry’s the bakery and amalfi the Italian were all brilliant. The campsite itself is very quiet with huge plots separated by long grass. Toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. We had a fire pit two nights running where Lucy provided hard wood and kindling for £10.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Felt very welcome. Large pitches separated by tall grass gives extra privacy. Several good dog walking routes straight off the site.
Fabulous campsite!
Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We have had a peaceful and relaxing stay. On Friday, we were shown by Lucy to our pitch quickly after arriving.
We managed to get near a tree for a bit of needed shade. Pitches were large and definitely no overcrowding on site, plenty of room for everyone.
Facilities were exceptional! Plenty of toilets and showers which were clean and tidy at all times. Loads of hot water in the shower! There is also a small kitchen area with a fridge/freezer which was good to re freeze our ice packs. There's also a washing machine and kettle. As an adult only site it was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the gliders flying over us.
There was a small amount of road noise but this wasn't an issue for us and had a great nights sleep both nights. Most other campers were very respectful of each other, and those with dogs had them under control at all times, which was great. There is a dog walking area just off the campsite.
An added bonus, especially for me, was the 2 very friendly resident donkeys! I love donkeys, so it was a real treat to have them come up to the fence for a fuss! We absolutely loved our weekend here, the only downside was that we couldn't stay longer and had to come home! We will definitely return, we are compiling a list of our favourite sites and so far, Tobacconist Farm is at the top!
A great stay
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 A first rate little site. We had a fabulously friendly welcome from Lucy on arrival. The site itself was spotless which continued to the on-site facilities which were very well maintained.
Wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Tobacconist Farm!

Large Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 A lovely little site well placed at Minchinhampton, a beautiful Cotswolds town. Great area for walking and exploring with our Border Collie. Lucy has set up this site with everything campers need. We'll be back!
A relaxing site but close to all amenities
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 We had a fantastic short break at Tobacconist Farm. The campsite is well laid out with spacious pitches and first class showers, kitchen and washing up area. The check in is welcoming and simple, leaving you time to relax. It is a short walk to the centre of Minchinhampton with its pub, cafe and shops. Also a handy bus service to Stroud and Bath. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Campsite wasn't overcrowded, good, clean shower block and free use of fridge/freezer. Had perfect weather, very quiet location with donkeys in the adjacent field. Would definitely visit again.

Small Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 What a fab site, so peaceful and a great location.
Lucy was great so down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. The pitch we had was huge and Lucy is not strict with what you can put up like some sites.
Free fire pits you just buy the logs, fridge freezer for guests to use and a washing machine free to use. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless and individual which is a plus.

Nice welcome on to the site, nothing was too much trouble. what we liked about the pitch was not being restricted to which way we pitched our motorhome. (freedom)

Short walk to pub, shop and cafe in lovely village, owner proud of site and is always around.
Quiet, clean, private pitches!
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 The showers and toilets are very clean. The electric pitches have tall grass in between them, so it feels very private. There's a nice dog walking area.
The owners were also very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2025 Had a lovely weekend here. The site is well drained and wasn't a problem for our MH, even in the rain. Very spacious pitches, water and EHU on each pitch too. The toilet block was cleaned every day and there was a good functional kitchen, washing up area and clothes line.
It's very close to Minchinhampton (5 min walk) where there is a lovely butcher, general groceries, post office, couple of coffee shops and a great pub (The Crown) where we had Sunday lunch.
All in all, a great weekend at a good value and well run campsite. Thank you Lucy!

Lovely place. More expensive than what I'm normally used to but that's probably due to the location as others were a similar price, if not more.

Pitches were spacious, the whole site was very peaceful, with lovely surrounding views. Plenty of toilet/shower facilities which were always clean. Kitchen including communal fridge/freezer, washing machine etc, and firepits/wood on offer. There was even a secure dog walking area where dogs can be let off lead, great for them to go to the toilet.
Lucy, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and it was very cool to see two donkeys grazing in the next field!

Lovely large pitches. Well drained ground. Grass kept nice. Facilities very good and clean. Very dog friendly- Maddison was lovely- a big softie!
Lovely market town just a short walk away. Fantastic walks over the common. Good definitely book again.
A wonderful site, host and stay
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2025 Just got back from a Fantastic stay at tobacconist farm campsite. Lucy the owner was amazing, who went above and beyond to make our stay and experience a brilliant one. Spotless and spacious site, with excellent facilities.
Just a short walk into a beautiful village, and bus stop for further afield activities and adventures! Would highly recommend, and already contemplating our next visit!
