About the site
Whether you're searching for a romantic getaway or a holiday for you and your little one this is the perfect spot. Nestled down a quiet country lane in Higher Kinnerton and just 20 minutes from Chester, and 40 minutes from the coast there is plenty to keep you busy! There are just three adult only (16+) pods on site, expertly crafted using sustainable Siberian larch via a local company. The boutique features of the interior make them a cosy home away from home, with a comfy double bed, a sofa bed, TV and central heating. Bedding and linen is provided. The pods also have a fully equipped kitchenette with a sink, two-ring induction job, a microwave and a fridge-freezer. You will also have an ensuite with a shower, loo and sink, you'll just need to bring your own towels and toiletries. Outside is your own patio area with a picnic table, reclining chairs and a BBQ, the site will even put up a gazebo outside your pod (weather permitting) to provide you with some shade or protection from a summer shower! Sit back and admire the acres of farmland right in front of you - no cars, buses or roads - just the sound of birdsong. On your doorstep are bridleways, cycling trails and footpaths, as well as tracks in the hills, a lake, forests or beaches (being so close to the A55, the north Wales coast is 45 minutes' drive or so from the site). It is a relaxed and peaceful site for adults but accompanied children over 16 are permitted. The site discourages loud music or those seeking a more party atmosphere in respect of other guests enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the nature around them. Sorry, dogs are not permitted on this site. BBQs are welcome in those provided, but sorry open fires are not permitted.
