Roof Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesAug 2025

Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Loved the spaciousness of each pitch. Location was perfect for us. Maybe a small shop or vending machine even would be handy but only a short walk into the local village, so not really a problem. Stay were very friendly and helpful.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesAug 2025

We had an issue, with how hard the ground was, to secure the tent with pegs. There were a couple of other campers with the same problem. Other than that, the location was perfect, facilities were great and clean. Will go again.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesAug 2025

First time camping and this site was fantastic. Excellent welcome on arrival to site with information regarding our stay. The site was immaculate including all facilities such as the shower and toilet blocks. The local village was accessible via a path at the rear of the site, taking around a10 minutes walk. Parking for the Watkin Path entrance was also a short 5 minute drive away for those wanting to climb Snowdon or visit the waterfalls. I would highly recommend this site and will be returning in the future.

Wonderful location and site

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesAug 2025

Stunning location, perfect for walks around Snowdonia. 8 min walk along the lovely river to Beddgelert where you find lovely food & drinks. Lovely pitches, great sizes and very well kept. Good facilities. Could be cleaner but were ok. The first 2 nights were lovely. Listening to the river and birds and mountains all around us. Perfect. Sadly on the last night, a group of about 10 lads and some girls arrived and caused chaos. There is a rule that quiet is at 21:30 but this was not adhered to. They have people coming around to check but they didn't say anything to this group who played music and shouted and smoked until 02:10! I called and texted the mobile help number you are given but no one replied. Such a shame to allow that to happen, it ruined our stay. I would suggest that if you are having groups of 20-30 year olds come you put them far away from the pitches where there are kids and families. It's not fair. If you're going to have a help number and people coming around, they need to respond and sort the issue out. Because of this I don't think we will be back. Sad because other than that, it was lovely but allowing them into the site ruined an experience for many campers in that area.

Lovely stay

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

On arrival, completely taken back with how nice the grounds looked and how well kept it was. Straight to reception and greeted by very friendly staff. Driving through site, the staff were out cutting grass, maintenance etc which is a good sign, they take a bit of pride in their up-keep of the ground. Once pitched, taking a look around was amazing, surrounded by views of hills and mountains, and not to mention the stream running through site. There were 2 toilet blocks, 1 which was modernised and the other slightly dated, but it was always clean and still in very good working order and had no issues with it. Plenty of washing up facilities and hot water. I couldn't believe how big the site was, and how well kept it is. Even with pitches next to you, there was still plenty of room. Had a little stroll into Beddgelert along the path at the back of site (don't go to the road to walk here, you'll miss out, go along the path at the back, trust me). The village had a few pubs, the one we went in was friendly, a pizza and ice cream restaurant, camping shop, and a small convenience store for essentials. All in all, it was a great little break and want to book here again!

Great site, clean facilities and walking from the tent door

We really enjoyed staying here. It was local to the areas we wanted to explore. The showers were hot and clean. The facilities were great, the walks around the site were lovely - along the river.

What an amazing site. Very friendly welcoming from staff and very helpful. Fantastic map of all the pitches and facilities available. Gorgeous setting. We weathered storm Floris. Lovely walk into Beddgelert either along the road or the river path. Definitely recommend and will be back again

The location is spectacular, the lake, the river, the village and the mountains… wow! The site is super clean, the people super helpful. If I'm pushed for constructive criticism I'd say a small shop on site selling the essentials (bread, milk, eggs etc) would be helpful but without this you are 'forced' into a gorgeous 15 minute walk along the river to the village!

The cleanliness of the facilities was not okay. They weren't also properly cleaned, because directly after the cleaning, it was still dirty.

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesJul 2025

This site is in an excellent location, the staff were very welcoming and gave good information about the site and facilities. The grounds were in perfect form and we had brilliant views. The facilities are good but the men's toilets and shower facilities are a little tired so would be good if they were updated/renewed in the closed season. Would have been good to see staff enforcing the rules, especially dogs not on leads and being allowed by the owners to wander around unsupervised, hence doing their toilet business on other guest's pitches and against tent sides.

Excellent

This campsite is in an absolutely stunning location. The grounds of the campsite are immaculate. We stayed on a hard standing pitch with hook up. The shower and toilet facilities were however basic and not very clean, which was a shame.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan PitchesJul 2025

Really nice location and so close to the walk route we had come for. The stream on the camp is beautiful and the toilets are clean and tidy. Only complaint would be going to the toilet on the last day and finding no tissue. Minor and can't really be helped when it's peak times, which is was. I'd say it may be less loved by very young children as I didn't notice a park (I could be wrong, I was with friends so wouldn't have noticed) but I do have children and I arrived home today and I'm already looking at available dates to return again with my children as there is so much to see. Watkin path is unreal so 100% worth it!
