Family weekend break Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 A nice family site. Felt it could be a bit black and white with the rules with staff going round site checking in on you.
Beautiful site Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Staff very helpful, informative and friendly.
Site is well looked after, beautiful, has a small shop with a few bits you may have forgotten, which was great because we did.
Only a 10-15 min walk to the pub that serves decent pub grub.
Fantastic holiday Single Axle Caravan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Fabulous site set in beautiful scenery.
This was our first stay with our caravan in North Wales and we were very impressed.
Darren (site manager) gave us lots of local knowledge and an insight into places to visit.
We shall def visit again!!!
Snowden climb campsite with a beautiful mountain view Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 Great campsite for Snowden Rydd du route climb. Beautiful setting with walks from the site to lakes. Clean, friendly farm site. Allows camp fires and close to beautiful beaches. Note the lane to the site is quite narrow and windy.
Would totally recommend.
Great place, we will be back! Recommends site
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Apr 2023 Great place! We just got back from this campsite and we have only good things to say about it.
We stayed in one of the pods. The pod had heating and light. On the site, there is playground (very modern), two blocks with toilets and showers, and hot water. Utility room with washing and dryer machines, fridge and freezers and even a microwave! There is a small shop at the reception so if you forgot something, you can buy it.
We love that my kids could get close to animals- they loved donkeys and lambs (even got to cuddle one and bottle feed them). Campsite apart from pods and campervan /van spots has electric and non-electric tent spaces, that are even, so you won't slip down in your sleep!
The place itself is situated in a very quiet area at the back of the Snowdonia. It's a great place to travel from-close to Caernarfon- which has 4 famous Castles in the area. About 50 min drive to Conwy and Llandudno. Anglesey Island is not far either. For kids in close area, you can visit Greenwood or underground bounce caves!
We will definitely book it again! My kids are already planning it for next year. We would like to thank Len (I really hope I have his name right) who made lamb feeding/ cuddling possible for my boys…they will never forget this experience! Thank you!
Ps. Our internet signal (well phone signal) wasn't the best, but the site has a WiFi that worked really well!
PPs. And the thousand stars at night that we normally don't get to see...
Ideal campsite for Snowdon Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Lovely campsite and very well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal location if you're hicking/climbing Snowdon with a really good path 15 minutes away.
Wonderful campsite! Recommends site
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Apr 2023 Wonderful stay at this beautiful campsite. We stayed in the Eilio pod which was very spacious, yet cosy, which had lighting and heating. Amazing views, BBQ and optional fire pit hire.
Facilities were very clean and a good shower.
Darren gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making good recommendations.
The campsite is on a working farm and we were able to feed the donkeys. We bought donkey food from the campsite reception, which also has some essentials and snacks.
Such a nice stay and campsite!
Good location, inconvenient pitching Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Great location with a shop in reception: showers and toilets available. It was a short drive from Mount Snowdon, which we had intended to climb the next day.
Toilets could have been cleaner and the pitch itself was rocky under about 2 inches of soil. Not expecting this, we didn't pack rock pegs and so the tent collapsed in the night and needed taking down in the wind and rain. Materials for fires were provided but, despite being told the fire curfew was 11pm, we were told to extinguish at 10pm.
This site was in a lovely location with great walks and nice facilities for young families. Our experience was ruined by the inaccessible pitch unfortunately and after getting 1 hour sleep in the car, we were unable to climb Snowdon.
Site's response
Thanks for the review and I am sorry that your tent collapsed. If you had asked for stronger tent pegs then we have plenty for you to borrow.
Our toilets are checked throughout the day and we have many positive reviews for cleanliness, something we pride ourselves on. If the weather is very inclement then sometimes its difficult to keep them perfect.
Not sure about the camp fire issue, you read the terms and conditions for a fire and the time for the fire to be extinguished is highlighted heavily as 22:30.
Lastly, we do not have any pitches that are inaccessible.
Its such a shame that you did not raise these issues when you were staying with us.

Excellent! Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 We stayed for a short break in the Easter holidays and had a wonderful stay. The site is in a great location, with lovely views and great facilities for a small farm site. Very clean showers with plenty of hot water. The staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommended!
Family friendly site Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 The staff on site were really helpful, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The site was in a lovely rural location, was quiet and had everything you would need and expect on site. This was a great base for us exploring North Wales, particularly the Snowdonia area, with Snowdon itself just 15 minutes away.
The shower facilities were clean and had plenty of room in them, especially to keep your things dry. A small onsite shop selling essentials was a great saviour too. The site is on a working farm so you can see the animals up close and feed the donkeys.
