Clear filters Wonderful campsite!
Medium Tent - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 We stayed at Tehidy for our first camping trip with our toddler, and it was absolutely perfect!
The hedged off pitches were perfect for keeping wind and noise to a minimum. Out son loved the play park too! The facilities were excellent - I'm really picky with showers and they were brilliant pressure and temperature!

Long weekend at Tehidy
VW-Type Campervan - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 What a great find. Campsite was just perfect.
We had a fabulous pitch, great size with lovely hedging for privacy.
Bathroom facilities etc were spotlessly clean. The site is very well kept & well run.
A short drive to the beaches & other attractions.
Would highly recommend a stay at Tehidy.

A worthwhile visit

The staff were friendly and gave us good information on the area and places to visit.

Overall, a great campsite
Large Tent - Large Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Overall, it was a fantastic campsite. My wife and kids enjoyed their stay and the kids at least did not want to go home.
I dropped off a few points for the hill we had to walk up and down for the toilet block. And that we had to track people down to get the family bathroom key to use with our two year old.

Lovely campsite in a super location
Large Tent - Large Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Loved our stay, nice closed off area. Nice clean campsite with all amenities. Lovely surrounding area. Met by a lovely gentleman who provided us with lots of information and excellent areas to visit. Would visit again.

Great campsite - owner was so helpful! Large Tent - Large Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Great 10 night stay at Tehidy!
We were greeted by the owner with very helpful tips on where to visit and eat. The website was great and we even went on the car tour which was advertised on there.
The owls at night were just fantastic with one above our tent one evening. Lovely.
The only downside was the WiFi was a little temperamental but we weren't too worried as we were there to enjoy ourselves and not sit on our phones.
Would 100% stay again!

Nice site in a peaceful environment
Extra Large Tent - Extra Large Hedged Grass Pitch (Optional Electric) Jul 2024 As a family of 5, we booked a extra large hedged pitch. The pitch we were given was very spacious, which was good, so the kids could run around by the tent.
We were also close to the toilet and shower block. The only downside from that was people walking through our cam, although signage indicated to use the road alongside the pitches.
The area was nice and peaceful with a clean site throughout. The owners were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely look to go back again.

Cornish gem!
Camping Pod - Wigwam Camping Cabins Jul 2024 I stayed here for 5 nights with my 15 year old at the start of the school holidays - we had a great stay!
The park is absolutely spotless - probably the cleanest I've seen - and the staff work tirelessly to keep it that way. Beautiful gardens, fantastic toilets and shower block, and all guests seemed to respect the quiet rule (10pm onwards).
There are buses that pass the site entrance so you can get out and about, but we had the car so were able to come and go as we pleased. We were provided with a very useful list of places nearby to visit and places to eat, there is a games room on sight with more local information.
The eco-friendly ethos is very apparent, with several recycling bin areas, timed showers (the showers are lovely by the way!). Thank you so much for a wonderful break away from the real world!

Our stay
Motorhome - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2024 Some of the pitches need a little bit of work and some of the trees need a good trim. The facilities are very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Medium Tent - Large Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2024 I wasn't sure when making the booking, but once I visited it, it was simply amazing!
Best decision I've made. It's a very quiet spot close to the beach and Tesco and pubs. Would 100% recommend this place!

Wonderful site
Medium Tent - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 We chose this site for its eco-credentials and the fact it offered EV charging. We were not disappointed - Richard and the team could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. The site is carefully laid out into spacious yet private plots with hedges/bushes at the borders with other plots.
The toilet block and washing up facilities were modern and clean, and the small freezer just for cool block freezing was brilliant.
The children's park, although irrelevant for us, looked great, as did the activities hut for rainy weather or just to chill out with others or watch TV. We didn't buy anything in the shop but it was handy to know it was there - great to see all the prices were on cardboard - i.e. eco-friendly.

Brilliant campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 We had a wonderful stay at Tehidy. The facilities are immaculate and the play area for the children was great. We enjoyed listening to the bird song in the evening and being surrounded by wildlife.

Lovely friendly site
VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 A little jewel of a site nestled just outside Portreath .Good location to explore from Portreath to St Ives and further. Lovely run, spotlessly clean site. Richard is not only a nice chap but full of knowledge of the local area. Pitches are nicely laid out with plenty of room. Will definitely be returning for another visit.

Lovely, clean site
Single Axle Caravan - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2023 Lovely, clean site, showers and toilet blocks especially.
We did find the site a little steep when towing the caravan to the pitch, our wheels were spinning, but once on the pitch it was fine. The man on reception was very helpful also.
Local beaches were lovely, Gwithian and Portreath, lots of amenities on Portreath beach 🏝️ including toilets and places to eat.

Bank Holiday getaway
VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 Fabulous site, large individual pitches. Toilet/shower facilities very clean, also washing up facilities. Ideal to explore many different areas. Check in quick and easy and useful information on surrounding areas etc. A little road noise, but nothing too drastic. Beaches within 5-6 minutes and close to coastal path.

Extra Large Tent - Extra Large Hedged Grass Pitch (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 Excellent park, private hedged pitches. Small park so never feels busy or overcrowded. Park for kids is great with little sunken trampoline. Clean toilets and shower block.
Only issue would be the showers automatically turning off every 5 seconds, which is annoying when you're trying to help a child!
Otherwise, we loved it and would definitely go back and recommend!

I get what you say about the showers. They are push button for 20 seconds then you have to re-press. We do this for water saving to avoid showers being left on.
