Such a lovely campsite in a great area. I came back after many years to see the showers, toilets and pot washing facilities updated. Lovely to watch the peacocks around the site. Lots of places for children to play safely. Loved our 2 night stay, thank you.

This is my fourth visit to Barn Farm, and I hope to visit again. The day staff are friendly and helpful, and the site security team are very fair. Barn Farm gives excellent access to numerous wonderful walks in the local area and has some great pubs nearby. The facilities are well maintained, but cleanliness is impacted by the sheer volume of DofE students. In order to manage this, there are adult only showers, something that is much appreciated. Thanks again for allowing us to camp in significant numbers with you.

I am sure the good weather helped but my short stay left me with impression that Barn Farm is a model medium sized / large camp site, well designed and well run.

Loved it here the site has everything you might need with lots of clean hot showers adult only ones too... also Alpacas, peacocks and baby swallows. The village is lovely with 2 great pubs serving food and fab walks too. Very family friendly, maybe too much so if you don't want to be surrounded by kids.

Lovely campsite very helpful staff. The location is beautiful with fantastic walks nearby including an ancient stone circle. We are returning guests and can’t wait to book again. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating.

Stayed with my 2 year old daughter and was once dark, 95% of guests were in bed and not keeping us up. Showers and toilets were very clean and made our stay exactly as expected.

Stayed for 2 nights. Good you can check-in from 12pm to give you more time on day 1. Way to find and access good. Check-in simple and staff very friendly. Chatty and helpful. Facilities ok although we mainly used our own. Nice games room. Pitches are sloping so bring levellers. Alpacas in field nearby were lovely. Shop had plenty of things - we bought a replacement calor gas at reasonable price. Walk into village 5 mins. Took a great walk to the Bronze Age circles and Earl Grey Tower. Lots of nature to explore on doorstep. There were lots of D of E kids there camping in fields but they were well behaved and respected the rules. Nice to see them working towards their award. We're a couple with two dogs and love it. Great place for families - lots of space for kids to play. Would come again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it seemed like a busy place with lots of people of all ages and backgrounds. All respectful towards each other. There was plenty of toilets and showers no queues, and all clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We love Barn Farm, this is our 4th visit. The walk to The Nine Ladies is lovely, the kids love the park and the on site shop is very convenient.

We were in the non electric pitches for tents. The facilities there are good, especially we are newbies in camping. Toilet and washing area are not too far. Plenty of light in the path walking to toilet. It is good for us with young children. Lovely hot shower. Some peacocks around the site. The tent pitch is on a slope with a bit flat area at the bottom. Surrounding by trees so it is relatively warm at night. Overall, it is a nice campsite.

This was our third stay and yet again, we had a lovely time. The location is wonderful, with fabulous views and direct access onto Stanton Moor. We took our grandchildren again as they love it there. There are plenty of places to run and play and it is very safe. Easy access to Bakewell and Matlock and we hired bikes again to ride on the Monsal trail. Will definitely return.

Love this site, ideal for us as a slightly mature couple, but also perfect for friends and families. Peaceful site but also great to see families enjoying their times. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Well stocked shop, and good games room, play area and plenty of room for kids. Just a lovely friendly atmosphere and site. Village pubs within an easy walk from site for drinks and food.

My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay at Barn Farm. The facilities were amazing and spotlessly clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The camping fields are on a slope but we managed. The location is great, with lovely walks from the site and two pubs in the beautiful village doing good food. We'll definitely be going back :)
