Loved it! Beautiful location. Peaceful. Brilliant facilities inside great buildings Seems really well run and maintained. Really thoughtful to have the walks information out and providing the outdoor and indoor games and equipment. We wished we had booked more nights- a really lovely place to spend time. The peacocks were fantastic and we enjoyed seeing the calves and alpacas. Very happy we found this place. Plan to be return..😊

Great campsite if you have children, they have a small wooden play area. Peacocks just roaming around the place - it's just great. Pitches are on a slight slope in places but it's not really any bother. Lots of local walking to be done. Staunton Moore just 2mins walk from campsite. Facilities are very clean and lots of them, they have a small shop and a games room on site too. Great place, will definitely be going back. 11 out of 10 for me!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. The site did get very busy at weekends and the toilet/shower facilities are slightly lacking for the amount of people on site but this did not effect our stay too much. The kids very much enjoyed the play equipment provided, particularly the trampoline. We will miss the peacocks and alpacas and the lovely views over the hills!

Return visit to Barn Farm and the kids still love it! It's always clean and the staff will drop whatever they are doing to help you. Only improvement I would make is to have electrical hook-ups in the family tent field

This campsite superseded my expectations. Cars next to tent. Gorgeous green grass. Clean facilities. Games rooms. Playground. Peacocks - yes noisy-ish but you camp to be close to nature. Honestly I've never camped before and this site has made me want to camp again!

Absolutely beautiful area- this campsite is amazing. The facilities are excellent and kept in top condition and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Peacocks add a touch of entertainment. We had 4 of our grandchildren with us and they loved it once again. 3rd time for us and we will be back. X

Lovely site. Amazing location, spotlessly clean. We had one of the caravan pitches in the bottom of slope field and loved it .Only downsides were no water hook up and the saddest part the sauna wasn't working. We still loved our stay and will be back.

Had a lovely long weekend at Barn Farm. Excellent with little kids, loads of space to run around, and a play area. Clean facilities, never any queuing for a shower, plenty of cubicles and toilets. Great walks to do nearby, within walking distance and only 10 minutes drive to Bakewell. We'll be back, thank you!

Amazing campsite with fantastic hot showers! Every facility you could want and within easy reach. Games galore for kids and adults alike. We had a brilliant time and would definitely go back again.

Had a lovely time at this campsite. We arrived late and were able to simply find a pitch and set up. The facilities were more than I expected, fridges, freezers, laundry room, lots of activities for young children, clean toilets and a good amount of large shower cubicles. The pizza van onsite on the Friday night was a tasty bonus too. I've not scored 5 stars for location purely because it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and so took longer to drive through the b-road country lanes - so simply because of extra time it added to our journey coming up from Devon.

Great location, although a few roads getting to the site are unsuitable for caravans. Friendly welcome and allowed to pick which of the sloping pitches we wanted to occupy. The facilities were mainly clean and everything worked as it should. A family friendly site, which means there is always the sound of children playing and having fun (and a few times not so much fun) and mainly sticking to quiet hours. We also had the pleasure of being able to stay up late and enjoy the Y Not festival until the early hours, even though they were miles away it was good of them to share. Excellent staff prepared to do what they can to assist any issue, and even offered late at night to re-open the shop for some much-needed ear plugs. A great site- I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Really lovely stay at Barn Farm. Big fields all well manicured! Quite slopey but there was plenty of room to find some level ground! EHU would be good, but not essential for just a couple of days.

Our pitch was good, slight slope so blocks needed. Toilets and showers were good, really clean and always toilet paper in them. Shop just had basics but it's helpful. The only downside is if you don't like waking up early, there is a problem because there are many peacocks. Lovely to look at, but quite noisy. For the kids there is a good play park and a games room which is fun to do, also a few games on the small area with outdoor badminton, connect 4, dominoes and snakes and ladders.

Barn Farm Campsite had everything we needed. Was very clean and tidy, staff were all super friendly. Location of the campsite is impeccable - lots of lovely little walks are accessible from the campsite. Really impressed with the campsite and would definitely return again!

This site is such a good find. Fantastic facilities, with plenty of showers and toilets that were all spotless. Play area and an outdoor games area for children and families and large pitches with gorgeous views. Birchover is lovely for a wander with 2 nice pubs and a walk up to the 9 ladies standing stones, that is pretty special. We will be back.

As a group of friends, we were struggling to find somewhere that allowed us to stay! Barn Farm was great, had lots of amenities, no issues with our group of 10 all pitching next to each other and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely break with my son, great walks, and unexpected hot air balloons, which we enjoyed seeing them take off. Great entertainment, maybe upgrade games room, not much for 13+. The pizza guy was great too.

Great site. Lovely and clean. The staff are all very helpful. Great showers that are free. Nice and hot too. Really nice to see the peacocks roaming free around the campsite. Will definitely be back.

Brilliant weekend had at Barn Farm. Great that we could arrive from 12pm to pitch the tent, good pitch choices and lots of space. Check-in was quick and easy. Facilities were plentiful and clean. Kids enjoyed the park, alpacas and spotting the peacocks. On-site shop had lots of choice and was reasonably priced. Family fun weekend was well planned and had lots of fun. Loved the band, birds of prey and the pizza was delicious. We'll definitely be back again.
