Loved this site and will visit again, although quite large it remained very peaceful. Good dog walk around the site with some gravel tracks for older children to cycle. Lovely curry night layed on site. All in a well run and friendly site.

Our first visit to Wareham Forest and first to Birchwood Campsite. We have a Welsh Sheep Dog and love to take long walks. The site offer good, all year round walks, although the plantation forest can be a little 'samey' after a few days. The walk to Wareham is easy and convenient. The only very minor complaint we had was not having a nice country pub nearby, it would have made for a full 5 star review across the board.

I have stayed here many times. This park is the best in Dorset. It's spotlessly clean, friendly, has a lovely little shop, friendly staff always ready to lend a hand - just love this park.
