Nice location, friendly staff, well kept site. Non hook up spots somewhat perched on the slopes, need blocks here. Good for forest trails. Ok for the cost but wouldn't pay more and would only stay at most 3 days. Lock in after 10.30pm keeps site very quiet so you get undisturbed sleep. Available on certain nights are fish and chips, that you order for delivery, and pizza, that went down well. Too early in year to take part in activities, but they offer a selection. Spotted deer roaming on part of site.

Toilet blocks clean but bit dated. Showers took a while to get warm but once heated, were lovely. Had gorgeous views over forest and deer in our field. Fabulous setting.

Fantastic walks right on your doorstep. We arrived early and were really thankful to be offered an earlier entry at a small fee. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. The facilities were clean and the showers were hot. As a young family we really appreciated the 10:30pm curfew and how considerate all the other campers were. We will come back, thanks.

Lovely campsite, stopped here twice and would definitely recommend for exploring Forest of Dean. Good for MTBs as not far from FOD trails.

The site was beautiful, spacious and in a perfect location for long walks and sunrises/sunsets! Very relaxing stay and we are already planning to return as there is so much to see. My only negative was the lack of recycling facilities on site, all the waste we produced could have been recycled but they only facilitated for glass.
Excellent campsite worth a visit

Lovely rural quiet site, with the bonus of kids activities on the weekend mornings and a pizza van in the evening. Well stocked little shop and great showers.

Just could not fault this site, from the moment we arrived the service was first class. Waking up to a herd of deer wandering around the camp in the morning was priceless.
A great place, we loved it

Staff are friendly and informative, plenty of walks or cycle paths to use. Deer graze on the site during quiet times. Overall a good stay. Felt the facilities were dated and could benefit with an upgrade, but that said, it all works and was spotlessly clean.
