Stayed on a pitch in the meadow, which was a lovely size and provided with plenty of privacy. We had the pitch next door for our friends too! I The pitch is very close to base camp. The shower/laundry & washing up block is also next to base camp, very clean and tidy. Will definitely be back

An absolutely beautiful location. We stayed at rabbit grove and had a lovely spot. Shaded by the trees but also allowing a sunny spot too. The cafe food was nice and varied. Quite expensive though. The site is dog friendly. However, no dog mess bins anywhere? This was a huge draw back as there is only one recycling and rubbish disposal area and that's as you drive in. Dogs aren't allowed in the shop, reception, bar or restaurant. Terrace only! And only via the back entrance. Luckily, it was dry weather! The toilet and shower block at the top were ok'ish. Could do better. The ones near reception were much better. Would we go back? Yes. If the dogs were accommodated a bit better. Staff were all very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clippesby Hall. The site itself is excellent with lots of variety in terms of pitch type, open areas and seclusion. The facilities for showering and cleaning were great and on top of the things you expect from a great campsite there was the base camp area. Where you could go for dining and relaxation. Also its in a great part of Norfolk both close to the broads and the coast. Great fun.

We have just returned home after visiting 3 different campsites. Though it boils down to what you want from campsite, if you want the best pitches, washrooms, absolutely beautiful surroundings, and of course the restaurant and bar with their smiley helpful staff. You can also rent the lodges, which look superb. One observation, I personally wouldn't rent one as there is no real privacy between them and certainly not from the road leading into the Campsite. Appreciate it's a lovely view over the fields but, I prefer the privacy. We will definitely return, and I highly recommend the site.
Amazing Campsite, will definitely return!

My family and I had an amazing few days at Clippesby Hall campsite. We stayed on South Park, pitches 74 and 75 which I would highly recommend as it was close to the toilets/showers so not far to venture in the night. Location of the site is central to many surrounding villages with lots of things to do. The campsite itself was brilliant, friendly staff, great pitches for tents, facilities were amazing, so clean and had everything you needed even a laundry room! The basecamp on site is great with delicious food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, shop for essentials, mini golf, kids play park and games room. They've literally thought of everything. An all around beautiful place. We will 100% be coming back and probably stay longer now that we've got the camping bug!

Stunning location in beautiful grounds with plenty for the kids to do. The gardens are well cared for and thoughtful to the setting including a resident peacock for good measure. Facilities are great and there is plenty of them. They're spacious & clean. The two cleaning ladies worked superbly hard - thank you! My only grumble would be the restaurant/bar set up, not having enough staff. The same queue for food, drinks, shop, ice cream & mini golf. Made it impossible to get served in a reasonable time. Not a reflection on the staff, they're friendly and do a great job. A QR code order system would benefit all. Management should revise the set up given the quantity of guests. That being said, the food is delicious and served in good time. The pizzas were amazing albeit a little on the pricy side. It would be good to have a few more convenient options in the shop and perhaps open earlier than 9am. The kids (9, 10 & 11) enjoyed the parks and the zip wires & were happy exploring the vast area of woodland space. We will definitely be visiting again :)

A great stay with our 2 young grandchildren. Plenty to do on site including playground, mini golf, zip wires etc but not too much that you don't have chance to just take things easy. Shower facilities were the best we've experienced and food in restaurant was really excellent. Area great to get to local places of interest. We went to Bewilderwood which was a fantastic day out. Will definitely be back.

Great facilities, excellent pitches. Well maintained with all services at pitch. Restaurant/bar facilities were very good, all contained within the modern facilities building, along with shower and ablution services. Highly recommend a stay here, the management and staff are highly professional and make sure your stay is a memorable one.

A lovely site with well screened pitches. Everything was clean. Great club house that served delicious pizzas. Nice mini golf course and woodland trail. Location was perfect for us, just a short drive to various beaches and boat hire yards. We will be back. We went out of season so nice and peaceful, but I would expect it would be great for families in the summer.

Really lovely stay, very clean, very well spaced out pitches and the food was really good. We stayed on the Heath, which was lovely and quiet, but toilets were back at base camp which was a little walk at 4am, but I believe they open these during busier times. They do close the bar/restaurant at 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 6pm on Sunday, meaning your options for food are very limited. Great staff and excellent facilities, we will be coming back again.
Amazing find!

Fantastic site! We will definitely be returning. We have a family camp every year and this is the site for us next year. Looking forward to returning. The biggest thing for us was how friendly and welcoming the staff were!

Would recommend, bit pricey even in Feb time, but enjoyed. Staff helpful onsite and in Basecamp. Don't mind paying for my dogs to stay with us but not very accommodating in regards to dog mess bins (even though staff mentioned to discard dog mess in ordinary bins), but can't really complain as the dogs had an outside shower with hot and cold running water 😀

Only a 2 night stay at Clippesby Hall, massive pitches, each one looked like a lovely pitch, situated between a wooded area. The pitch I chose was fully serviced. Very level and close to facilities. The toilets and showers were always kept clean and tidy, even when only one block was in use for this time of year. The restaurant on site looked amazing. We had a take away pizza because dogs were not allowed in that area. So,we sat outside for a drink. That's the only negative I'd give. But there was some lovely short walks in the woods to take our Pug. It was a bit of a distance to walk to others pubs and on a busy road without pavements, so we stayed on site. But I enjoyed the stay there.

Excellent site, the basecamp cafe and bar had very good food. The service was quick, the meals were hot and, very reasonably priced. The miniature golf was fun.
Such a shame you’re so dog averse!

I feel you shouldn't list yourselves as dogs allowed. There was not a dog bin in sight, hence the poo bags being placed into general waste bins. There were no dogs allowed in any of the bar or restaurant areas. I feel that expecting us to pay for the dogs to stay and then also expecting us to sit outdoors in the middle of winter in a non-enclosed outside area with blankets seems laughable. We were looking forward to a meal and a few drinks in your restaurant/bar, but were not able to. We've travelled all over the UK and to many dog friendly sites which feel wonderfully inviting and we would certainly return to many of them. If travelling without a fur family, the pitches and facilities are of a good standard. However, be prepared for bin trucks, leaf blowers and general noisiness first thing in the morning if situated at base camp. Again, a shame as the pitches do deliver! All in all, a disappointing stay. I think the management/owners of the campsite would prefer a no dog policy, rather than charge per dog and offer a frosty reception.
