Booked this site via Campsites.co.uk with only a couple of days to go, but the confirmation came through before we left. Booking was easy enough but I thought the price was for the first night only and was expecting to pay more on arrival. But no, a very nice lady booked as in on arrival and confirmed the price was for both nights, so I promptly paid for a further two nights on the spot. Remarkably cheap price but not in terms of quality.
The site is mainly statics with a circle of grass in front of the reception/amenity block. There are another few pitches at the back of the site. We were on a grass pitch and we had plenty of room. There was a drinking water tap and waste water in the centre. The toilet block was clean and well maintained with a carpeted floor. Showers were the push button type and absolutely fine. Floor does get a little bit wet but fine.
The site looks onto a beautiful sandy beach which stretches all the way to Findhorn. To the side of the site and behind, the beach is a huge forest with walks galore and a cafe near Roseisle. The town itself is nice and lots of interesting things to see. There is a wee cafe at the beach on front of the site.
This is a nice site which I would definitely recommend and would go back to. It is extraordinarily inexpensive compared to others of similar or even lesser quality. A breath of fresh air.
Very friendly quiet campsite
