Fabulous stay for my anniversary

I decided to try camping for the first time and I couldn’t have picked a better site and location! I booked a standard bell tent for my anniversary with my boyfriend and any inquiries that I had prior to the day was quickly answered via email with the staff responding very promptly and politely! When I arrived the tent was all set up and it was very easy to check in! The site is easy to find and you can easily park your vehicle alongside the camping spot. The people running the site were so lovely and friendly they allowed us to blow up our mattress and made us feel very welcome. In terms of facilities there are showers and toilets which are clean and well kept! There is also a mini shop so if you forget any essentials don’t worry as it is most likely that they will stock them in the shop! The camping site is literally a stone throw away from Cannock Chase so we walked around in the evening and then went to go ape the next day which I would recommend.

Our stay

A great find on the edge of The Chase! The facilities were clean and the water for showers was hot. There is a huge camping area meaning every tent has plenty of room.

Great peaceful location just over road from the forest

Great location right next to the Cannock Chase forest in a couple of large fields so I was able to be a good distance away from other campers. We (including the dog) had a peaceful few nights stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities, including a shop, were very good, although at busy times the number of toilets and showers could be a slightly limiting factor - this was not the case when we stayed, however. I would definitely camp here again in the future.

Highly recommended

Very impressed with this pop up site. Lovely tidy field with a choice of parking up quietly away from others or gathering as a large group. On site shop and takeaway food. Facilities impressive and were seen to be cleaned regularly throughout the day. Perfect location for the forest and a lovely nearby pub for great food. Will return.

Great family site

Lovely outdoor family site with friendly staff. Woodland adventures for all ages. Site really clean.

Great first VW camper trip

Had a lovely stay at this campsite with friends, it was also my first trip out in my VW camper. This pop up site is fantastic with a shop, food truck on Fridays (which was delicious), toilets and showers. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cannock Chase is a beautiful area and would highly recommend this site to experience it.
