We moved to Suffolk as a family in August 2020 in the hope that we could start up a campsite or glamping site. We are both teachers and we wanted to be able to work part time to be able to spend more time with our children and not miss all the events that children do!
We love the outdoors and have spent lots of time doing camps and D of E as teachers. After four years in Suffolk we have finally done it! We aim to offer a happy, quiet and peaceful stay at our campsite. There are lots of opportunities for cycling around mostly flat roads and visiting local beaches, the broads and towns.
Very quiet, peaceful campsite close to Beccles and Southwold. Really big pitch sizes and clean toilets and washing up area. The owner was friendly and helpful and the information sent before arrival was useful as well.

Hi Victoria,
Thank you so much for your review, it was lovely to be able to host you both. We like to run a peaceful site so our tent pitch sizes will be remaining the same so we don't have to squash people in! I'm pleased you found the information useful, I have recently added some vets numbers and taxi numbers to the information pack too. Have a lovely summer summer, Sarah and Callum

Site's response
Dear Valerie,
Thank you for taking the time to review us! We're really pleased that you enjoyed stay and that the site was peaceful for you. Have a lovely summer, Sarah and Callum
We stayed here for the May bank holiday. Me, my wife and our two children (5-7)
The campsite is very well maintained with large pitches and more than enough space in between. The pitches are arranged in a horseshoe shape which makes it easy to see the children play and look for insects in the grass while your on your pitch.
Toilet facilities are clean and up-to-date. There is a mixed/disabled room which makes it easy to wash the kids, family wash rooms always make it easier keeping the tribe clean.
Toilet wash is easy to use and pot wash area was well maintained.
The host Callum came and said hello and had a chat with a brief intro to the site, Then we were left alone to enjoy our stay in the peace and quiet of the site. Callum and Sarah are doing a great job running this site.
