Clear filters Great off site campsite close to Legoland
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 A great stay at the clean and tidy (for wild camping) Wagoners. The toilets & wash blocks worked really well, the open air showers were freezing but good fun for an experience. Lovely walks straight from the campsite too.

Beautiful setting and great eco facilities.
Dogs not allowed off there lead which I thought was odd.
Definitely will be back.

The pitches are large (although not flat!) All the amenities you would need for camping off grid...and more! Everyone was friendly and respectful (I suspect this place only entices a certain type).
Wish I could have stayed longer, but will be back soon to tackle some of the bike and walking routes offered.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Fantastic, eco friendly site. Basic facilities but these were excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. Spacious pitches and everyone kept to the quiet hours, meaning this was a super relaxing stay at a lovely site.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024 My first time going 'off grid' and it was a great experience. Lovely spot, secluded and quiet. Facilities provided were very clean. Lovely walks straight from the site. Nicky the manager was a lovely lady and very helpful and welcoming to the site.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024 Pitches very large and spacious. Nikki, the camp manager, is very friendly and very helpful. The area is scenic and very beautiful. Facilities provided are better than those at any campsite I have been to.

Great site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 This was a quiet and relaxed campsite. We were visiting legoland and it was only 35 minutes away. The site was clean and tidy. We stayed by the tree line at the bottom and the kids loved playing in the woods and were thrilled to find a den built from sticks and great climbing trees. We went midweek so it was quiet, but everyone who was there were quiet during quiet hours. We will definitely use this site again.

I stayed in a small tent with another person and I think I spent a bit too much money for what it's worth.

A lovely, quiet, and spacious site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Our family enjoyed a much needed restorative stay at Waggoners. Nikki made us feel very welcome.
Despite its location not far from London and near towns, the site felt off-grid, quiet, and secluded. Loved that we had lots of space, and everyone respected the quiet after 9.30 rule.
Facilities were in keeping with the site ethos and really clean - a joy to use!

Lovely one-night-er
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Our first off grid stay with our VW camper and whilst we donāt pick the site for the eco led facilities they were a pleasant new experience. Nikki (and Regis) was lovely and the firewood pack was the perfect size. We stayed one night just to have a mini adventure with the kids away from it all. The woods and the big mound was plenty to keep them going for perhaps a day more. No screens requested!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 A nice place, secluded, but you can hear traffic from the Hogs Back but not badly.
Very good access to the North Downs Way as it passes along campsite. Nikki is very good with anything or info that you need, a very pleasant person. It's only cold water in sinks and showers, so a little bit of courage is need in the shower!
Part of the wood at the entrance to the site is being opened for rough camping, which I believe to be a good idea. The pitches are large, so room for cars and moving around.
I will be going back.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 Lovely back to nature site, right on the North Downs Way. A little over-priced, given that the showers were cold water and fire pits aren't included, but everything was clean and as described.
The host was friendly and helpful and the pitches were well spaced out.

Cracking campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Having decided at the last minute to book a night away, I chose the site. Wasn't really sure what to expect but in arrival I was really impressed.
The composting toilets were immaculate, very well signed and explaining what to do. The hand basin and pot wash was a great addition.
The site was advertised as being full and there were many people staying there, yet it remained peaceful and quiet. Other guests were very friendly and welcoming. The views were great and having the North Downs mere metres from the van was ideal.
Would I return, absolutely. Having a site like this about 40 mins from home is ideal. Highly recommend it.
Superb campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Great off-grid campsite in a wonderful setting. Sophie who runs the site is extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The arrival admin was very efficient. Will definitely be back.
