Fab place to stay

Just got back after 5nights camping solo, really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Handy enough to get to nearby towns either by train cycle or car. , walk to the best pub through the castle grounds was nice with decent food. The weather was amazing which always helps!

Keep a secret?

Fairfields is so good, I almost would like to keep it a secret. But they deserve the world to know they are excellent. We had a beautiful couple of days and hope to return soon.

Nice place to stay

The site as a whole is nice, only few negatives we found - the water in the showers in the main block gets incredibly hot, there's a small industrial estate as such next to the site and there was a lot of car revving going on early morning and at night. The overflow showers outside, the whole cubicle floor gets incredibly flooded whilst having a shower and doesn't drain well so it's not practical for getting dressed after. The enclosed field for dogs to run around is a great positive, it's also possible to walk to Pevensey Bay via footpaths/fields if you don't want to use your car

Brilliant

Perfect site. Toilets are a little dated but spotlessly clean at all times of day. Lovely little farm walk and the biggest dog field I have seen. New shower block is functional and showers had plenty of hot water. Massive pitches some with a bit of shade from the trees which was much appreciated!

Beautiful

Beautiful, relaxing caravan site. Very quiet & peaceful, we loved how you can feed the animals on the farm trail & purchase feed from the shop. Site facilities were spotlessly clean, our only personal view is that in Sept/Oct, the showers maybe a bit chilly, but showers were lovely, clean & ideal to use. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay x

Fantastic Site

Fantastic site, will definitely be back. During high season it would be more convenient if the shop was open longer hours, but didn't take away from an awesome holiday and site.

I cannot fault it

This was my first solo camping trip and everything and everyone was amazing. Clean facilities, easy to use and find your way around, even at night. Helpful staff and felt very safe throughout.

Lovely Site and amazing stay

We stayed at Fairfields Farm for a long weekend and had an amazing time, the warden was friendly and approachable and our arrival was easy and quick, we then found our pitch which was spacious (although quite bumpy) the electric worked instantly. The site was quiet and calm and we loved the lack of children around. We popped to see the animals which was fun and a nice walk.

Great little site

Great little site. Close to lots of local attractions. Very clean site and an excellent dog walking area, which is far bigger than anywhere we have been before. The site shop is very basic and has the essentials, no alcohol a trip to the local shops is required if you want a drink. The showers in the main toilet block have a glazed tiled floor on what I thought was a pretty steep angle, so make sure you wear non slip footwear to shower in as I was bare footed and did slip on the sloped floor. Other than that, friendly helpful wardens large plots and great location. Would definitely use again.

A lovely part of the world

A great find, lovely site very peaceful set on a farm with nice walks, good size pitches, the toilets and showers were spotlessly clean, nice friendly warden very attentive and the shop onsite had all necessities. Will definitely come back.

Convenient tidy clean site

Amply sufficient site - as described. Big pitches. Good dog walk. Phone signal. Nothing fancy but fancy not required. Things to do in village or drive to seaside. Convenient train service 5 mins away.

Really nice site

Really lovely site, well organised in terms of rules and expectations made clear from the beginning, everyone on the site seemed to respect and keep to the rules. Check in was very simple and staff seemed very friendly and welcoming. Lovely to have some animals on the site, away from the pitches but close enough to walk to and see. Toilets, washing up bay and shower blocks were basic but everything you need when camping. Nice little shop, not too much in stock but enough for emergencies. No club house, restaurant or bar which was nice for no loud noise after kicking out time.

Countryside farm camping retreat

Peaceful and well maintained site. We got to stay in the camping field away from the main site so really lovely and quiet. Warden was very friendly on arrival. Will definitely be coming back!

Clean and lovely camp

Lovely, well located site. If you don't want to drive, you are a short walk from the bus and train, and its just a short drive to the amenities if you do. Little bit of road noise, as the camp is near to where the speed limit goes up, but you only get it if the wind blows a certain way. Facilities are older design, but well maintained and extremely clean.

Clean and friendly site

We had a smiley welcome at check-in and soon found our pitch at this small and friendly campsite. The facilities were close by with all necessary attachments for water , showers, toilets, laundry room and was up area. It is an adult only site and good for quiet times. We would definitely visit again and recommend for a peaceful break in Eastbourne away from the crowds. Thank you
