The Old Stables Campsite is located in South West Cornwall, just five minutes from Gwithian Beach, a popular spot with surfers. A great family-friendly site with large spacious camping and touring pitches (some with electric), plus camping pods and shepherd's huts. The site offers modern facilities, fire pits for hire and a wetsuit rinse. St Ives is also only 20 minutes away, perfect for days out!

Stayed for one night in a small tent, however pitches were a decent size to accommodate larger tents. Good clean facilities and friendly, helpful onsite warden.. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time camping and we couldn't have picked a better site. Pitches were nice and flat and as someone who is obsessed with cleanliness, found the toilets and showers to always be very clean. Absolutely no complaints. Very peaceful and quiet and we will definitely be back. Cannot wait to return.

Easy walk to turnpike pub, lovely staff and food. Good worthwhile walk to the beach. Met a beautiful savannah cat, Sampson, being walked around the site. Tasty homemade cake for sale.

Our first visit to Cornwall, we couldn't ask for better campsite. Very quiet place, affordable and a short drive to all the attractions Cornwall has to offer. People were friendly and helpful. Tent plot was a generous size. Showers/toilets very clean. CCTV on site. Dogs welcome, quiet road nearby was perfect for a dog walk. Food truck on site - breakfast made to order. Homemade cakes available to buy. We all had a great time.

We were made very welcome on arrival by the owner who told us about the camp site and facilities and local bus services The site is well maintained and clean and tidy. We visited St Ives by bus and was very pleased with the area

Excellent campsite in a perfect location, 10 mins to park and ride train for St Ives and 20 mins to Perranporth beach. A 10 min walk to the local village and village pub. Took the bus into Hayle from the local village. Campsite owners super helpful and always on hand if needed. Breakfast van on site a few days a week, fab scrambled egg on toast delivered straight to the van! Toilets and shower facilities always super clean and stocked up. Would definitely recommend!

This is a little gem of a site, it was so much better than expected. The facilities were excellent and the morning breakfast bar was an amazing addition. There was even an ice cream van that came around for the children. We can't fault the site and will definitely return.

The Old Stables is great for those who are looking for a small campsite with all the standard facilities. Good pitch sizes with electric hook-up available. Fire pits available to rent with logs make for a lovely evening activity. The convenient location near to the A30 is also a downside, as you can hear the traffic from the site. However, except for the odd loud lorry/motorbike, we soon grew accustomed to the noise. Jayne and Mike were very welcoming when we arrived and gave us a pack with information and vouchers for the area. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely stay here this summer! We wanted somewhere with easy access to the south coast and this site was perfect. Immaculate facilities which were constantly being cleaned. A lovely food van serving breakfasts and evening meals. Will definitely be returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our staying in Rosie the shepherd's hut, plenty of room for a family of 4. Facilities were great, showers/loos were kept very clean.

Enjoyed my stay here. Was clean and the owners were helpful. I was offered to upgrade to electric for a charge as was none available when I originally booked. They even lent me the cable as I didn't bring one with booking nonelectric. I went with a group of people but had booked at a different time so I wasn't near their plots but the owner moved me so I was next to them. Thank you.

A lovely site, well managed and super clean. We felt welcomed and safe. Everything is well thought out, the owners were always busy keeping the upkeep of the site. It was well presented and clean.

On arrival we were given all the information we needed. Showers and toilets are very clean. Nice and peaceful site with a great location. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing campsite, it has everything you will need onsite. Fresh drinking water, showers and toilets are spot on, very very clean and smell amazing./ Mike and Jayne are fabulous people who couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast van on site (try the hog pudding) cold drinks & milk can be purchased in reception, pizza delivered to you on site on Wednesdays - what more do you need? Turn right out of the campsite and drive about 15 minutes and you come upon the most stunning beach, or take a bus ride on the T2 into St Ives only £4 for a return ticket. I will most definitely be staying at the Old Stables Campsite again. Thank you for having us.

My husband and son and I had a great time at the campsite. Upon arrival, we were provided with complete information in a nice and professional manner, right? Where? When? We received a set of tourist information with discounts as a welcome gift (great idea). Service was always on hand. Toilets always clean, never ran out of toilet paper. From the first day, every morning we waited for the opening of a small booth with fresh, warm breakfasts - a simple roll, bacon, egg, but how did the bacon taste at 9 a.m. in the open air? In the evening, after returning from the beach or sightseeing, my son played football with other children. The central empty square perfectly united the children from all the accommodations. The campsite itself is in a great location. Easy access to the most interesting places on the end of the island. Thank you very much and we are already planning to come back. Translated from Polish.
