A beautiful park right on the Thames

What a lovely place situated next to the Thames. Toilets & showers are immaculate. Great place to take dogs as vast amount of space to run about or take a dip in the river. Obviously dogs need to be on a lead around the campsite. Can't wait to return.

Well kept and friendly campsite

Our first time at this site as well as this area. From the first meeting with the wardens to check us in we knew we were at a great site. Warm and welcoming team, lots of useful advice. The pitches are huge and level. Plenty of space for the campervan and a sun awning or even a full awning if necessary. Our pitch was oriented well to make the most of the sun, which was a bonus. Sitting in the evening after a days walking I couldn't help but notice how quiet the surroundings are. The occasional putt putt from a boat going by or the geese and swans in flight. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Hurley Riverside and have no qualms recommending this site. Best wishes for the summer👏

Walking the Thames path

Although we liked the location of the site we found it any expensive pitch. One toilet block was functional and the other wasn't environmentally friendly. No plugs for sinks so water running away all the time washing yourself, struggled to get hot water on a morning, toilet automatically flushing before you were finished all adds to a lot of water being wasted. Apart from that toilet block, we were happy with our stay. Bus at the gate for getting out and about. Well stocked shop although we only bought lollies. If we visited the area again we would use the campsite again but would only use one of the toilet blocks. We loved seeing the Red Kites flying above us each day.

A perfect river stay

Perfect stay, wardens very friendly and super helpful. Village is beautiful, we walked to Henley-on-Thames (1hr 40 mins) lovely walk along the river and through the deer park, stopped half way for a Sunday roast.

A lovely campsite

I only stayed 1 night as I was at the Windsor Championship Dog Show and decided to drive home as it was so hot. But I was impressed with the campsite - it was lovely. A post-box would be good as I left very early and just poked the gate key through the gap in the door.

Thanks for your great review. We do have a post-box by the door of reception just near where the normal key drop of box is located. It is just on the side door of our reception as you drive out of the park. Thank you for posting the key back and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Absolutely wonderful stay

I spent many of my teenage years here, enjoying such fantastic times with my brother and parents so to return after more than 30yrs and still have such a wonderful time (although slightly more relaxed I might add) was just the best. The staff were lovely, facilities just what we needed and our plot location just right.... We are already planning our next, longer stay..... many thanks.

Fantastic

This is an excellent campsite. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Friendly campers. The showers and toilets were perfect and spotless. Beautiful spot along the Thames for walks, picnics, chilling. We had the best time. Thank you.

Lovely campsite

A lovely campsite. Generous pitches. Site beautiful maintained and very professionally run. Shower blocks had plenty of toilets and showers which were clean. Plenty of washing up sinks. The weather was very hot so the site was very busy for the weekend. Despite this, it didn't feel overly crowded and by 11pm, it was quiet. The location was perfect, right on the River Thames. A short walk to Hurley village with two pubs and the lovely town of Henley a short drive away. We will definitely return to this site.

Long weekend

We had 2 adults and a grand child from abroad booked in for a long weekend. Once we booked and paid for everything, we received an email stating that no one can sleep in the awning, as the grand child was sleeping on our bed, the other couple had nowhere to sleep. I feel this should have been stated on the main site page. When I asked to cancel/refund the booking, they then agreed for them to sleep in the awning.

Amazing site

We arrived Friday. Met at the gate. A really friendly man met us, gave us a map and welcomed us. Gorgeous setting, huge pitches, access to river.. cannot fault it. We had the best time .. would definitely stay again.. and it was a bargain ❤️

Great location on an immaculate campsite.

Absolutely loved it here. The campsite is in a fantastic location alongside the Thames. Facilities were great, well stocked camp shop, pop up pizza place and immaculate toilets and showers. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Guided us to our pitch and were on hand if we needed any help. The campsite is large but not noisy and didn't feel crowded like others I've stayed on. All in, I would 100% recommend.

Fabulous park

Loved our stay here. The warden (Martin) and his partner went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. Facilities are new and very clean. Very close to the river for water activities. Only fault is no tv signal and Wi-Fi (payable) is very weak.

Amazing campsite

Really brilliant campsite, immaculate and staff were so so friendly and helpful. The fact you can walk along the river is wonderful. Felt like we'd had a longer break than just 3 days. Can't wait to go back!

If only every site based their standards on Hurley Riverside! Polite and helpful staff, immaculate facilities, nature trails, respectful evidence of local wildlife habitats, beautiful riverside pitching. This site cannot be faulted.

Great site

Great site and location within easy reach of walking part of the River Thames. We walked to Henley-on-Thames, seeing plenty of wildlife and watching red kites.

Lovely site, well maintained and friendly

We have stayed here regularly and the site is really well looked after. The staff are so friendly, location is lovely and a walk along the Thames can't be missed.
