This site was a 1 night stop over on the way to Penzance. Ideal.

There was no electric nearly every day. One day, electric was off from 5pm till gone 8am. This meant I couldn't charge my electric wheelchair. The disabled shower room was not really suitable. There was no hand rails or seats at the shower. no hand towels or hand drier. Most days, the toilet rolls were wet from the extractor fan not working. The ramp had a raised pathing slab so wheelchair dug into gravel trying to ride over the slab so I couldn't use wheelchair. I had to report the disabled toilet was loose and the drop rail didn't work. They were quick to fix that. Handy man came with in a few minutes, which I give him full marks. Dogs were allowed to run freely and dog mess was around the site. Being a dog owner, that was not good.

We were having issues with the electric coming into site, which has now been sorted. Also, we have had many disabled people stay and have never mentioned access. As for dogs, there was 1 small dog that was off their lead and the issue was swiftly addressed as we take all our camp rules seriously. Kind regards, Woodleigh team.

Lovely site, clean, not too busy. Lovely lakes for fishing. There was some roadside noise but didn’t bother us at all.

Nice little campsite close to Exeter

We wanted a stopover close to Exeter and this was great for the night. The site is close to the A30 so there is road noise, but this didn't stop us having a good night's sleep. The toilets and showers were clean and had loads of hot water. There was lots of daytime work with diggers etc as the site is expanding, but this was away from the pitch. Some of the pitches were sloping so levelling was a bit of a challenge. Excellent value for money, there was a café next door to the site which looked lovely (although we didn't use it as it was closing when we arrived).

Absolutely beautiful site, with great facilities. Very clean and well kept. Great location and value for money. My partner and I were fit in last minute as we didn't have anywhere to stay. They were very accommodating and it was a nice, peaceful stay. It had very nice showers and bathrooms, water, electric pitches and I noticed some long term residents who were very nice and welcoming. It felt very safe and I will definitely come back when passing through again.

The site is undergoing major landscaping ground work, which is already showing the benefits. All the facilities for a touring caravan are kept clean and tidy, though some grass pitches need levelling blocks.

Fabulous new site, run by a very attentive owner, nothing was too much trouble. Good overnight stop off with a campervan, motorhome, or caravan for journeys down to Cornwall. But also popular with those wanting to fish on the sites lakes. Restaurant adjacent to the site (although we didn't get a chance to use it). Some slight road noise from the adjacent road, but that didn't stop us sleeping well. Lovely small site- would recommend as excellent value for money.

This site is brilliant for a couple of days stopover. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The site is quite small and quiet, but don't let that phase you. There is only one shower for males and one for females and a large disabled one, also washing up facilities. We didn't have to wait for any of the facilities though. Fingle Bridge is 5 miles away, which we walked to and is beautiful with an amazing pub.

Great convenient for Dartmoor hiking. Easy to find, like the entrance and well gravelled path. As it was raining for a day before, the grass was really soaked, though it didn't effect as it was draining down the hill.

Carl was really friendly and helpful. Site looks lovely, definitely done a lot of work. Stayed 2 nights. Peaceful location even though your close to the A30. Toilets and showers were clean, although the men's shower tray seemed to retain all the water. Sure Carl will sort it. Great value for your money. Highly recommend.
