Single Axle Caravan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 Had a lovely stay here everything was spotless toilets and showers.
The staff were one of the best we have had. Have to give it 5 stars plus. The shop on site was great and it was a cafe to and the food was fantastic. Yet again staff were amazing.

Clean bathrooms. Large pitches. Great little onsite cafe.
Would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.

One of the best sites we have stayed at
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 We booked this at the last minute. Everything was very clean and tidy and the whole site was very well maintained.
The on site café was a great and saved us from having to go out for evening meals as they did a takeaway service for the evening. We had fish and chips one night and pizza the next. Both were exceptionally good meals. We also had a breakfast in the café in the morning which set us up for the whole day.
The facilities were excellent throughout the site and very well located. We also liked the dog exercise field which we made use of.
Basically, this site has everything for couples with pets (our dog and cockatiel enjoyed their stay) and for families. While it was busy, it was also very peaceful and everyone had plenty of room. We would definitely return here again.

Lovely, clean dog friendly site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 The grounds of the site are immaculate and the toilet / showers are clean. We found the showers located in the centre of the park far better than the top ones and, as such, were busier.
There were three dog fields which were a fabulous addition, well thought out and thoroughly enjoyed by our two dogs. The shop is small but offers the essentials. This along with the cafe closes at 2pm on Sunday which was a shame as the food is lovely and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
There isn't much within close walking distance but, with a car, it is easy access to some beautiful, dog friendly beaches.
We would definitely stay here again for a weekend away.

Lovely, friendly campsite
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 Pennymoor is a lovely campsite in South Devon. We had a very friendly welcome from staff.
The site is sloped although our tent pitch was mostly level.
The 2 shower/toilet blocks were kept clean with plenty of hot water. There is a shop stocked with basic essentials and a lovely cafe. There's a small children's play area. Although the site was busy, it didn't feel packed, with plenty of space for children to play plus 2 good dog walking areas.
I would definitely stay at this site again, beaches and other tourist attractions are easily accessible from here.

What a place
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 Wow, what a place. Pennymoor beat all expectations.
Very accommodating, friendly staff, plenty of space on the pitches. this place has everything you need for a stay. Although ours was only a short stay we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived.
The facilities are of very high standards and kept clean at all times. plenty of dog walking areas. a good spot to set up and head out on day trips.
Liked it that much we have already booked a spot for next year.. would definitely recommend this site.

The cafe and shop were a bonus.
No queues for the showers ever. Spotless facilities and a great play area for children.
Dog walks, so much space too and uninterrupted views.

Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 Lovely campsite, very clean facilities but showers not warm enough, huge pitch when booking large pitch, wasn't in the sun in the evening but we just sat on the grass facing.

Apologies for the showers not being warm enough. We will check the settings on the water heating system, though we do have to be careful on how hot the showers are.

Nice and clean well presented campsite
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2025 Nice and clean well presented campsite. Has a shop with cafe attached to it with nice staff that run it.
Handy place to stay if visiting surrounding beaches and coves.

Excellent campsite
Extra Large Tent - Large Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 We booked a last minute, one night stay at this campsite to test out our tent.
I couldn't believe how cheap it was, especially with it being the school holidays, and due to this, we weren't expecting much but it was fantastic!
We've been to several campsites and our pitch here was easily the biggest we've had. It was reasonably flat too which is always a plus!
There is a park on site which our daughter loved and a cafe which also doubled as a shop. The food in the cafe is fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
It's a smaller campsite but it's one of the best we have been too! We will definitely be back!

Brilliant
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 I can not fault pennymoor camping site, friendly and very helpful staff, cafe staff awesome and friendly and brilliant food me and my son come for 2 nights and had a brilliant time will be back for sure 😀
Showers, toilets facilities were tiptop constantly cleaned and kept on top of.
Can't wait to come back again as really enjoyed myself and my son to. Thanks to everyone at pennymoor keep the hard work it does get noticed and I will be telling friends and family about you guys thanks again.

Tip top camping spot!
Large Tent - Large Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 Stayed before, over 10 years ago and returned with the children now they are older.
It was nice because it was as good as when we first went, facilities all spotless and the site itself clean and quiet.

Amazingly peaceful site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 We had a wonderful and uncomplicated stay at Pennymoor. 20 minutes from the most beautiful beaches on the south coast and peaceful surroundings.
The on site shop and takeaway is well equipped and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and highly recommended.

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 Had a lovely welcome, nice and quiet, good facility, very clean, tidy.
Restaurant small, great fish chips, shop ok - very basic but could do with more food product's.
Great day at Burgh island, sandy beaches lovely pub.
