Shaftesbury Country Touring Park is a friendly site located just outside Shaftesbury. Set in the idyllic Vale of Blackmore, as referred to by Thomas Hardy in his books, this is in the heart of Hardy country where you can't help but admire the beautiful backdrop of Dorset's rolling fields.
The peaceful site welcomes tent campers, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes alike, nestled amongst breathtaking Dorset countryside. Hardstanding pitches are available with electric for tourers.

Day memberships are available for use of the gym and you can also book a massage session to unwind during your stay.
There's also a fishing lake for the keen anglers in the family and if you fancy learning something new, ask the site about their local clay shooting instructor for a session you won't forget!
You're also ideally situated for family daytrips to some of Dorset's highlights. Stroll through Duncliffe Wood and admire the stunning display of bluebells while keen cyclists can choose from a range of routes close to camp.
A half hour drive will take you to Britain's arguably most famous landmark Stonehenge or you can take the kids to meet the animals at Longleat Safari Park. Shaftesbury's charming town centre is also only a five minute drive away with plenty of shops and pubs to browse.
